Hawth Park Inn

Had been here before, a very long time ago. But visited with guests, and had not remembered that it sits on an island almost square with rounded edges, with the car park entrance facing north. Any way its companion is the Holiday Inn Express, I assume for quick stays, and yes found a parking space although I did not see many for the disabled badge users. The service could not be faulted , and to my own fault ordered something I should have avoided. They did point out you can book on line, and by mobile. I still like the old fashioned way of just turning up and hoping for a table. any way they found one on a step or two. What I like about Harvesters is the station that displays all the aperitifs, personally I prefer the beetroot diced small, the pasta bits and the potato salad. My all time favourite is burgers followed by an ice cream Sundae. Well they say treat yourself ,and suffer afterwards. I did but gladly!!

I am a fan of Harvester restaurants, but this one gets just 3 stars as the service can be a bit hit and miss. When they are good, however, the food is great and prices are even better!

I haven't visited a Harvester for several years and my experience here was good. Food is acceptable and very good value for money. Waiting staff friendly.

I hadn't experienced a Harvester before and really I cannot find any negatives - it's a genuine value for money 'grill house' style of restaurant. Certainly not fine dining and the prices are really low IMHO. Lots of choice and considering we ate there more than once it stood up well to repeat visits.

Good food. Really good salad bar. Early bird before 6:30 week days which gives you a discount off the menu.
