I have bought furniture from Steve G at Havertys in Athens for years. They have a good selection that is available for fast delivery. Steve ensures top notch customer service too!

My husband and I recently bought our forever home and went to Haverty's to find new furniture to fill our house. Beth was an invaluable help with finding exactly what we were looking for, and Julie worked magic with the computer representation of how our choices would actually look in our house. This was by far the best furniture purchasing experience I have ever had.

Just to start with everything being so delayed and for things to take forever to get here. Steve got all of the items in store that were available for delivery within 2 weeks in 30
minutes over the phone (as requested) he answered my 100 questions and as we were leaving to check somewhere else out knowing we wanted to make a purchase that day he was incredible even as we were leaving.
We returned the same night and made the sale! Amazing experience! We have not received the order, it will be coming a week from now but great experience. Don't waste your time with anyone besides Steve! And the women who does the final purchase was great as well! Last winter I started the process to purchase a sofa. At the time, the sales rep told me things were delayed and it might be as long as three months. I made a down payment and went on my way. A month later they called and said sorry but more delays for another couple of months, still no problem.
Then another call with an extended delay until as late as the fall; Big Problem for me if delayed that long. I explained my situation and the sales rep listened and refunded my deposit. All along they were very upfront with the delays and when it became a problem for me, they fixed it. Great service!

Purchased furniture in 2019 and was sold the warranty on all of our equipment. Told by the rep that even if the furniture was intentionally damaged by our children it would still be covered because the warranty is that good. No questions asked. Attempt to file a claim with their 3rd party contractor who doesn't honor their warranty and denied claim. Waste of over 1000 dollars on a service they won't honor. Don't waste your time or money at this location. Gave plenty of time and opportunity for Ashley to make this right and resolve the issue but they would rather blame their warranty company and the warranty company blames Ashley all while the customer isnt taken care of.

Very unwelcoming towards those that walk in with service dogs. He did ask, but after we confirmed that our dog is a service dog, the man walks away. Then proceeds to come to us a short time later to FINALLY ask what we were looking for, he told us they encouraged mask. I cannot wear a mask as I truly have breathing issues. We did not feel welcomed in the store at all. And I promise I wasn't rude about it and told him we didn't feel welcomed. He said thank you for coming in, did not encourage us to stay. Basically seeing us to the door.

The saleswoman who helped us blatantly disregarded the mask policy posted on their website and at the door. The entire time we were being helped by her she had her mask on her ears but pulled down completely below her chin, and she kept getting uncomfortably close to us. All four of us, including our young children, were wearing our masks per the store policy. And then today when we returned the fabric samples we checked out literally none of the employees, including the same woman from our previous visit, were wearing their masks. This shows blatant disrespect for customer health and safety. We'll never buy a thing from this store.

Julie Thompson is absolutely incredible. She was our salesperson. Very friendly. Very professional. VERY patient. And most of all extremely knowledgeable about the furniture. I would recommend her highly to anyone.

Overall, very nice quality furniture. Staff are friendly and helpful but not pushy. Gave me a "discount" on delivery. I appreciate that.

Teresa Wilson is amazing!!! Wonderful experience with her today. She is definitely NOT the typical annoying sales person. She was patient & attentive but not hovering at all. Best furniture shopping trip we have ever made.
