Well I know its a tourist thing but what the heck!? Dropped in on a Saturday afternoon and the place was crazy! Not all tourists either. The folks I sat to were from just around the corner. Kids and all. So cool. Jazmyn took super care of me.

All her suggestions were spot on! I started with a very nice rojo wine called Vilicus red. It was so great I had three glasses! Nice pours here too!

I ended up taking her suggestion on the Cibeles local legendary burger and was not disappointed. This locally sourced little beauty was perfectly cooked - for me thats just a little pink inside - topped with a fried egg with spanish black rice sausage on a wonderfully fresh sunflower seed bun. Oh and the paprika aioli was perfect for the burger AND the fries, which were hot and fresh!

That plus the rich red would've been enough but I ended up getting the apple cobble just to finish on a very high note. Jazmyn said to do it. Who am I to argue?

I can see why locals and tourists alike stop here. The food is great, the service is warm and friendly and then there's all the Hard Rock bling too!

Perfect afternoon and lots to walk to nearby as well.

Thanks to Jazmyn and the Hard Rock team!

I don't know if it's a European thing not to refill drinks but i definitely was forgotten about after my entree was served. I sucked on ice the entire meal hopping i wouldn't choke. I love it. Nothing is worse than having an empty glass and no server in sight. I drink a lot with my meals, and quickly, so a server gets extra points with me if they refill my drink before I have to ask.

By the way, most every restaurant tells servers to do this. It's pretty crappy for you to tip them less for doing something they are trained to do.

Food was cooked perfectly. I got a bbq burger which came with French fries that I didn't end up eating. For drinks my buddies got beer I got a mango tango and asked them to put vodka in it. The mango tango has Red Bull in it too. The drink was delicious too. My buddies beer when the asked for a large was super small compared to the beers we get else where. Wish they had bigger drinks it was kinda expensive. All of us had two drinks each and a main course and the bill came to 105 euros. Main course ran about 16-20 euros each. They have downstairs area for seating for families with children or a party more then 6.

I don't know about you, but sometimes it's nice to have a good staple restaurant you're already familiar with when you're traveling somewhere new, especially if that place has an entirely different cuisine than what you're used to.

Hard Rock is one of these places. There are tons of locations all over the globe, and they all usually serve the same menu, which is standard American fare.

My sister and I went to this Hard Rock because we just wanted regular American food, and we were not disappointed with our experience.

There was a wait when we came here of about 40 minutes, but since we had nothing else to do on our last night in Madrid, we didn't mind. The hostesses were nice enough to let us know we could wait at the bar, where we snagged some drinks and looked through the menu before we sat down at a regular table.

The bartender was very friendly and the service was quick. When we got to our table, our server took our order and was very gracious and welcoming.

We started with the spinach artichoke dip which was actually quite tasty with regular tortilla chips. The chips were nothing to write home about, but the dip itself was creamy and full of spinach and a good amount of artichoke. Definitely a good choice for an appetizer.

We ordered burgers for dinner -- I got the Legendary Burger and my sister ordered the BBQ burger. Both were very good. My burger had a good amount of melted cheese on it as well as an onion ring, which was a great addition to the burger. My sister's burger had GREAT flavor with the onion mix on top and was overall just really a good choice.

Both burgers were cooked perfectly and served with fries, which were okay.

I had a good experience here. Service was quick, friendly and efficient and exactly what I needed on my last night in town.

Took very long time for seating though there were free tables outside for more than 15min (we were first in line)
Then we waited for the waitress more than 20 min - eventually, the waitress that told us she will not serve us did served us... with very poor service

Best meal in town! As an American traveling in Spain for three weeks, the hard rock was a sight for sore eyes. Tired of eating tapas, cheese and bread, I needed good old fashioned American fast food.

After three weeks in Spain and some top notch restaurants, this was my best meal of the trip. Lol

I found some English speaking friends at the bar and had a great time. That bacon cheese burger saved me!

It's amusing, really, that it took me going to Spain to actually go inside one of these, but one of our party was desperate for a proper hamburger and since she'd put up with our insane culinary habits for the whole trip, we decided to humor her on the last day. The place is precisely what it has always been- a tourist trap of a theme restaurant, but for all that, it's not bad, perhaps even better than I expected once you get past the fact that the prices are absolutely ridiculous.

The food is quite tasty and the portions are massive, which helps make up for the pricing a bit. There's a bit of a wait to get seated, but the bar is ready and willing to make drinks for anyone who cares to squeeze in. The sangria's not bad, the coffee is actually pretty decent [and the bartender comped it for me, despite my protest that it wasn't on the tab, not sure why] and the other drinks are pleasantly inventive in a dreadfully American fashion. The group's favorite was probably the fancy beverage with crushed berries in a french press, and I personally quite enjoyed my strawberry basil lemonade.

The service is a delight if you appreciate the American method of waiting tables, which is to say it's more personal, cheery and talkative than the usual for Europe [something I know distresses some travelers]. Am I likely to go back? No, there's too many other places to explore, but I don't regret going, which I'll admit surprised me a little.

Service was good and the ambience appears standard HRC -- just not thrilled w/ the food.

Wife had the chopped chicken salad, and she enjoyed the fresh vegetables, chicken and the dressing -- this made me happy. She also had a margarita which she said was, "meh". As for me, I got the club sandwich. It had a healthy portion of chicken and lettuce and tomato, but the bacon was minimal and the sandwich was very dry (i.e., very little mayo). The fries arrived warm, but weren't crispy, so I left them alone. The best part of my fare was the garden salad, which included dried cranberries and feta cheese over fresh greens.

I've now been to a HRC twice in my life, the one other time in Asia, and I was craving American-style food after being out in a rural area for a week. It did the trick then, but it didn't leave me wanting more. We went tonight because we wanted to eat close, I wanted a sammie, and many places are closed on Sundays. Again, i just didn't taste anything that made me feel like I need to return to a HRC anytime soon.

      Cheers

The Hard Rock Cafe contained a lot of memorabilia from various artists, Madonna being one of them. Upon arriving, there was a gift shop to the left of the hostess stand. I opted to order something to drink and then look around the cafe. It does not seem as though it is required to patronize the cafe in order to look around. I was told by the manager that the cafe has 3 floors and I took it upon myself to look around every floor. The variety of items that were hanging on the walls ranged from guitars to clothing worn during concerts. The food prices were in line with other Hard Rock Cafes which means that it is fairly expensive and there is nothing unique about it.
