Not to be dramatic, but if I die (or get sick) within the next few days, it's because of this restaurant. Food safety is an issue here, and I do not recommend that anyone eat here.

My order: D3: sweet and sour pork, crab rangoons, and pork fried rice as a special combo. I also ordered hot and sour soup.

Please note: I ordered delivery on Uber eats.

      Pros:
The hot and sour soup didn't suck.
They did take care to package the sauce separately from the food so it wouldn't get soggy.

Cons: where do I begin? Please see the photos for the full effect.

Food quality: practically inedible. dry as the Atacama desert.
Pork fried rice: was actually just plain white rice, and exceptionally dry.
Crab Rangoons: it's like they forgot the crab. greasy to the max.
      Sweet and Sour Pork:
      - The pork was DRY. It was so chewy that I could not finish it.
      - The ratio of pork to breading was disgraceful. about 1.5cm^3 of pork inside about a 9-25cm^3 glop of undercooked breading (undercooked in the inside).
      - The breading's outside: so hard that the fork could not penetrate its shell. This durability is on par with the Nokia cellphone. (see pic).
      - The amount of sauce provided was essentially a drizzle of sweet and sour sauce, as opposed to the expected coating.
      - It was literally just the pork. Usually with sweet and sour pork, I expect at least a few vegetables (if anything, for some colour...)
      - the sweet and sour sauce itself was rather aversive.

The worst of all is that on arrival, the chicken had actually MELTED THE STYROFOAM CONTAINER IN MULTIPLE SPOTS (see pic). So if I get sick, I know where to call.

I'd rate this about 5/100. I would not recommend that anyone goes here at all, as it is potentially dangerous.

They are on the stingy side but the one thing I can recommend from here is the roast pork lo mein don't add extras because they will just take your money and leave the order the same. The pork fried rice was ok as well take ut chinese in Boston leaves a lot to be desired...

Been ordering from this place for long time and it's always been tasty, reliable and on time. I was shocked to see it has only two starts, I definitely agree with the reviewer before me. Note this is more of an American Chinese food place. So if you want "authentic Chinese" this might not be exactly that place.

      $6.50 for 4 dumplings...
The dumpling skin was too thick and more importantly - RAW; tougher than play-doh, and completely inedible. I had ordered this appetizer for delivery, and the 4 sad dumplings were stuffed into a small take out container. Ended up scavenging the meat filling, but you can tell from this picture the skin was inedible. Never again - even if starving on a late Sunday night.

I judge a Chinese-American restaurant by a few things...quality (are the veggies and meat fresh), sauce (is it watered down, tasteless or too salty), and their crab rangoons (that satisfying crunch, is it soggy and if it tastes good).

Happy Garden came highly recommended by a coworker of mine, and I decided to take a chance despite the plethora of reviews below. I have to work tonight at my store so I figured a nice large meal will tide me over.

I ordered the sesame chicken with white rice and crab rangoons. Chicken itself lacked flavor, the sauce was watered down and not very flavorful. Rice was good and not too gummy. I ended up using soy sauce for flavoring the dish....something i never do. Crab rangoons made this dish shine. I enjoyed each one. I didn't finish the chicken though.

Will I order from here again? Probably not. Did it hit the spot? Meh.

I do have to say though...delivery was on point, and the driver was very nice.

Wow, it's shocking to see how many of these reviewers think that they're the next Zagat food critic of the year or something.
It's cheap, fast Chinese American delivery.
      Delivery is fast.
      Food is good.
All these yuppie idiots deriding "college tastes and late night drunk munchies" are welcome to remember that you pay for what you get, and michelin star meals aren't really what you get for a 10$ grubhub delivery.

These guys are open pretty late, which is when my Chinese food cravings are at an all time high

I highly recommend their CHICKEN TERIYAKI and CHICKEN CORN SOUP

I would give them 5 stars if they weren't so stingy with their duck sauce

Not sure about the bad reviews for this place -- we had an EXCELLENT experience!! I always order chicken lo mein which can sometimes be a bit bland from cheap Chinese places, but this one was a great deal and very delicious. We also tried the pork fried rice, egg roll, and pan fried dumplings. They were all delicious considering the price! This will be my go-to takeout spot from now on!

Four years later, this place is my go to Chinese! The cold sesame noodles is excellent. Egg foo young with the gravy was really good. The gravy makes it. Eggplant with tofu is delicious.

I placed an order through yelp with this restaurant for a delivery time of 1230 in the afternoon.
The restaurant took my $37.10 payment but did not attempt a delivery until after 4:00pm and I get out of work at 3:00pm. Therefore I did not receive my delivery so I would like my money back.
This was my 1st time using your service or ordering from this restaurant. At this point it may be my last as well.
