Hibachi is ok. Sushi is also mediocre. However, the thing that bothers me the absolute most is the gunk/grease/filth in the vents on the ceiling and the vents above the grills. Next time you go watch the uncleaned filthy grease drip in your food as it's heated from the grill. Cleaning is such a necessity in the food industry, something this place doesn't understand. They should be able to have it contract cleaned for what they charge to eat there.

The sushi is amazing. The Yami roll is our favorite! Def the only spot for sushi in this town9

If you like good quality food don't come here. The food is so salty you can barely taste the food. I honestly don't know how people enjoy that much salt on their food but hey maybe that's just how people like to eat their food down here.

I've only been here once back when we were station at fort Polk LA and its was pretty disappointing, not only is the food not good and stale but the pricing are wild. Considering leesville's lack of restaurants and activities to do I can see why they would always be packed and have a high ratings but coming from someone who lived in Miami and moved to Louisiana, this is not it. The ambience is very cheap but its expected since its location in an almost deserted town but the server were nice and the wait time is very short if you go during lunch. It's recommended to go during lunch to save you a couple of bucks but it is still very pricy. I wouldn't recommend going here.

Did they just change owners or something? The lunch portions are now the size of a small appetizer. Sadly we won't be returning.

This was a decent place...
However as far as true authentic Japanese cuisine ... it falls drastically short...

Having traveled throughout Japan for the last 2 decades.. I know what Japanese is supposed to taste like and be presented as..

First the teriyaki was over cooked, too thick of cuts, and too thick of a overly sweet sauce coating the entire plate to try and mask the incorrectly prepared dish...

The tilapia was overly breaded and over cooked to lose the flavor.. the sauce was like eating sugar with a hit of flavor..

The sushi was lacklustered with the ingredients that didn't taste as they were deep in sushi grade, but right at the edge of the grade.

Spring rolls were underlined and lacking the flavor pallet.. the sauce was a watered down soy sauce with a splash of fish sauce in it.

Now the staff was friendly and accommodating

This , with the limited choices you could try and have a nice evening, however if looking for authentic Japanese cuisine keep waiting ..

Perfect for a girls lunch sushi date or a family evening out for hibachi their food is always phenomenal and service is great. The hibachi portions are huge I was eating left overs for two days after !!! Super happy everytime I've been ! Highly recommended !

I don't eat Sushi but I bought some for my husband and he gave it a 10/10. Their portions are really HUGE! One meal could feed two people

Restaurant was pretty empty on a saturday afternoon, but we still had to wait 20 minutes for a table of 3.

Ordered some sushi, and it was okay. I have had better. The las vegas roll is always a staple. And the breading was a bit soggy.

Hana in Natchitoches had it spot on, but there was a bit left to be desired here.

Our waitress didnt know the menu all to well. I asked her about spicy dishes and she said there werent any...

The server was really nice and took care of us and the chef put on a good show. The food was okay. I do not think it was worth the price. The area was clean.

My family and I came in Saturday and sat hibachi side. Our server was a guy with a beard. Pretty sure that's against health code, or he should at least wear a restraint to keep it from food contamination being that it was pretty long. Was grossed out about it tbh but the food was really tasty and we had a great show from Chef Rolando! Other than my server I was happy with the experience!
