I booked and paid online and arrived at the hotel with my twin 12 year old girls. We arrived late as I requested after 10pm, we had just left a 75th birthday party nearby. When we walked into the lobby a large heavy set lady with scabs on her body and glasses? was on the phone. When she finally got off the phone we were told to come back because the system was down/updating I don't remember exactly how she described it but she said she could not check us in for at least an hour or two!!! I was extremely upset and told her we would just drive back home an hour away....upon filing a complaint the hotel denied this ever happened and refused to refund me!!!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Stacy Q.Cerritos, CA1523Mar 8, 2024
Thank you Quinn. You were an absolute lifesaver. Thank you for being so accommodating, welcoming, and helpful! There was a miscommunication with our hotel stay during our baseball tournament so we needed a one night hotel and she was phenomenal! Hampton Inn- she's an absolute asset to your hotel! Many thanks from our family in Cali to you in Houston!

This honestly isn't a bad hotel. I stayed here for 2 nights cause its easier to just stay the night instead of going between Missouri City and Kingwood.
I paid with points and money so a 2 day Friday/Saturday stay came under $200 which is typical.
I was on the 4th floor. My stay was pretty quiet and comfortable intill Saturday night. It wasn't the hotel's fault but I had some inconsiderate guests having conversations outside of my door and then proceeding to talk and yell loudly in the room next to mine. I knocked the star off because I shouldn't hear anyone's conversation in the room next to mine.
Getting in and out of the hotel can be a pain especially on a weekend. The hotel happens to be in a lane that ends so you have to weave in with the other people who decided to wait till the last minute to merge.
No airport noises that I noticed. Great value if you want to save some money and stay closer to the mall then the airport.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Reggie M.Stafford, TX094Sep 9, 2023
Let me start by saying that I didn't stay overnight, I was hanging out with my boys and didn't want to drive 40 miles back home on a holiday. Here's the reason why.
1. The room looked like hotels in the past dark and poorly maintained.
2. There was only one ice machine, that was on the first floor. I had to take the elevator from the second floor.
3. The telephone cord was removed from the phone, yes, I wanted to call the front desk.
4. The internet was not working, the front desk told me that if I unplugged it and restart it would work, that was not the fixed.
5. The refrigerator was so small that it could only hold three bottles of water.
For what they charged a night I could have stayed in a better hotel.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nikolas G.TX, TX0192Jul 24, 2023
Good I guess. Breakfast was great. Beds were clean and washed. Nice hotel... But the pool is only open from 9 to 9.

This hotel is clean, comfortable bed and pillow (had king suite), cold a/c, good breakfast, fair rates.

Great location for restaurants, but not geared towards airport guests.
The hotel is quiet, you can walk about 10 minutes to the mall area where there are several good restaurants (Uber recommended if after dark).
We checked-in early and were the first to sign-up on the shuttle list for the next morning. Shuttles only leave on the hour and we had to grab one extra early. Then when the shuttle finally dropped us off, we were the last ones to go...31 minutes later from a full shuttle. The airport is only 12 minutes away.
We had a 5am shuttle, but breakfast doesn't start until 6am, so we had to grab a couple of those awful brown-bags and miss breakfast.
I do have to admit, the folks working at the hotel were very nice.
This Hampton calls itself an airport hotel, but it is not very airport-friendly. Please start breakfast at 4:30am or so and have more frequent shuttles going to the airport. THEN you can call yourself an airport hotel!Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 1 - Aug 9, 2017Updated review

Oops. I booked this hotel again! Ugh. They haven't changed a thing since last year. The place is a year older and moldier and more disgusting than the last time. My friends used Priceline and got a Marriott for $50. I paid twice that for this awful place. Stupid me.
They need to dehumidify the hallways and it would help if there were fans in the bathroom.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 1Sep 19, 2013Previous reviewThis is an older property. The rooms reek of carpet fresh, they have the push button window unit HVAC systems. They didn't book us in a nice room as Diamond members no one gave a damn to make sure we were taken care of. Last time we check in this place, we checked right out and moved to the Doubletree.
