Hall of Flame Burgers

Food and service were top notch! Food was amazing and staff were super friendly and checked on us multiple times.

Made the trip to Ruidoso so finally got my chance to sink my mouth around one of these Delicious works of art.
They were of the best and I fully understand way they were placed as #13 burger in all the US.
IT WAS AT the time hard to believe that poll but man, whomever made that that choice was 10% on point..we had 2 PLANO with everything added bacon and avocados..I ate 1and Half that's to my bride.My sister that lives in Dosa had the what else: The Full blown Hatch Burger...Fries also were a Winner. SO YES, IF you near the Mountain..GO!

We went hiking at Cedar Creek Trail in Ruidoso. First time visiting this little gem of New Mexico. After a nice long day of hiking we were famished. My husband searched for restaurants. A fellow Texan said Hall of Flame had the best burgers in town.

We ordered 2 "Plano" burgers, onion rings and homefries. The homefries were cooked to perfection and the burgers hit our protein craving. We devoured the delicious flamed burgers and sides.

The server who took our order was friendly and smiled which was refreshing. The ambience was clean, cozy and laid back.

We were browsing YELP for places to eat here in Ruidosa as we have never been here before. My son found this on Yelp and I took a look and saw a review by my Yelp friend Steve B., he rated it 5 stars so that was a go for me. It did not disappoint. The chicken sandwich I had was exceptional. Very tasty and juicy and a good portion. They add other things on it I don't recall that made the flavors POP. It was a great sandwich. The staff was friendly and efficient. My only regret is we didn't have time for another visit later in the week.

A small burger joint inside a tiny indoor shopping center, on the main drag ini town. We got green chile burgers "to-go". This is a place where you order by phone or at the counter, and if you stay there, they bring the food out to your table - nothing fancy about the atmosphere, perfectly functional, but you don't come for the ambiance.

The burger patties are obviously hand-made in the restaurant, and were cooked well. The added bacon was good (just crunchy enough to provide good flavor and texture), but the green-chile was disappointing, you almost couldn't tell it was there. The cheese (probably American?) added little. The shredded iceberg lettuce didn't inspire, but the tomato slice was fine, and they offered either mayo or mustard.

The French fries were crispy and fried -- a kind some folks love, but I find overly greasy and not really appealing.

So, not a great meal, but perfectly adequate -- and the restaurant doesn't pretend to be anything it isn't. Fine for a burger, not much else to be said.

Good burgers? No doubt. Burgers are very tasty and I have never had better American cheese anywhere in my life. Fries are included with the burgers/sandwiches, but the size of the burgers is absolutely enormous, so I'm not sure it's necessary (still nice though). This is an order-at-the-counter place so service isn't much of a factor but it was relatively quick. Definitely worth a shot if you're a burger fan.

Aww man, burgers like this make me want to eat them everyday!! For starters, there's definitely a line you will have to go through specially when there are lots of tourists in town. Line does go by fast and orders are equally speedy.We were lucky enough to snag a table for our big group. The seating area isn't the largest.

Food wise we were all happy campers. All burgers were big, tasty and juicy so bring an appetite! All burgers come with fries which there are different types. I recommend trying the beer battered fries or the hatch chili cheese fries. There are free refills as well.

Parking can be a bit challenging so be patient. Come try hall of flame burgers, you won't regret it!

A quick no frills type of spot, that I did enjoy!

There is a big seating area, menu is small but provided variety. You order up front, grab your number, and they drop off your food.

I got their spicy burger that I found delish! Perfect amount of spice and it came with fries, I can't complain. The hubs got the teriyaki burger and he felt it was lacking a little but overall filled our stomachs and we would be back!

OH MY GOODNESS... Theee best burger I have ever ever eaten. It was outstanding. We ordered the Hatch Green Chile Burger with hatch Chile cheese fries.,, not for the faint hearted if you are watching calories, but I promise you it's worth it. You head up to the counter and order from a fairly extensive menu, Voila the staff bring it to the table. The staff were great, very friendly and helped us out with the ordering. The place is a drop in with locals eating in a quiet unassuming place. If you are in Ruidiso New Mexico DO NOT MISS. It's ideal for families.

This place really hits the spot if you're looking for a good solid burger! The meat is fresh the flavors are distinct, and the service is fairly fast. After arriving at after not eating all day and coming here, it was the perfect thing I needed to revive myself. This place is nothing fancy but the food hits the spot.
