I can't say enough positive things about this office and practice. Dr. Haake and his team are caring, gentle and understanding. I adore my technician, Kiersten, who handles my super-sensitive teeth with kit gloves. What a great office of team members!

I left BlueStem after many years when they mismanaged an abscessed tooth which they saw on x-ray as a golf ball size pocket of puss yet failed to show me or even tell me about. When I came to them months later in severe pain I was referred for a root canal on the wrong (healthy) tooth and still not told about the abscess. All of this misinformation delayed treatment leading to unnecessary medical tests, pain meds, extreme prolonged suffering and a great deal of added expense. In the end it was clear that the care for several old, failing crowns and fillings had been neglected. I am now spending thousands to have these issues addressed at a new clinic. They weren't even cleaning my teeth effectively.

Love this office! My dental hygienist, Carly, is very thorough in her cleaning and just so darn kind and personable. And, as someone with dentist anxiety, I have been at ease under Dr. Altomare's care.

This place is the single best dental practice I've ever been to. My dentist (Altomare) is so thorough and detail oriented I wouldn't go anywhere else. The staff is amazing and the culture there is great, you can tell everyone really enjoys what they do. I had recently moved an hour and a half away and STILL would not go anywhere else.

The surgeon (Dahlquist) is a BOSS and removed a wisdom tooth that was sideways that other practices said I would have to go to a specialist. He had it done in 30 min and the wound healed quickly and cleanly - with absolutely no pain. My other wisdom teeth hurt really bad to remove but that was at another dental surgery place. Dahlquist is getting a bad wrap on here from a vocal minority - he's great in my opinion and I've been to many.

I wouldn't listen to the 1 star reviews, this place is simply amazing and I'll be a client for as long as they'll have me.

They are kind, friendly, and attentive. You can tell they really care about you and the work that needs to be done. They are very accommodating with appointments, letting you schedule appointments as close as one to two days from the time you make the appointment.
They are one of the most accommodating dental practices you'll ever go to. They listen to what you need and seek to meet that need as best as they can. I am really grateful to have found this dental office.

While undergoing a procedure for dental implants, Dr. Ryan Dahlquist cut a blood vessel causing me to hemorrhage for over 7 hours! I had to go to their office at 10:30 at night where Dr Haake worked on me trying to get the bleeding to stop. Finally, after an additional hour, he ended up putting stitches in to force the bleeding to stop. Shortly thereafter, I received a formal letter informing me that since this malpractice occurred, they were "resigning" from continuing to treat me! I've never heard of a doctor refusing to treat because they had caused an injury to a patient!

I came to Haake dental because of the great reviews. I now see that they are all from 2017 and before. Perhaps they have a new dentist in the practice that isn't up to par. I was unlucky enough to get him as my oral surgeon. I went in for pain in my teeth and to talk about implants. Doctor Haake and Dahlquist were very interested in telling me how great I would look, but I didn't get any real information, despite asking. At the very least, I would need two teeth extracted soon so I made an appointment for them. The office staff is very nice and I signed up for their medical insurance.

Cut to my extraction. Never before have I had such pain. I told them I usually needed extra numbing and to please go slow, which Dr. Dahlquist took to mean "go as hard and fast as you can with the numbing". I was literally grabbing on to the chair and moaning and he took no notice of my pain. Instead, when it wasn't numb enough yet, he proceeded to go in with another horrible shot and did not care that I was moaning and shrinking back from him. He pulled the teeth with gusto and left the room. I have never, ever had such a horrible experience with a dentist or oral surgeon. I will never let Dr. Dahlquist touch my mouth again. I notice that the positive statements are mostly from before 2018. Maybe there was a change, but I will never go back there and I will question yelp reviews a little more when it deals with a doctor or a dentist.

I wish someone had warned me.

I love Dr. Haake's dental office! All the staff are great- especially Dr. Haake and dental hygienist, Amanda. This is a great place to come for dental treatment. Highly recommend

First time patient at Haake Family Dental. The staff was great. Had an appointment the day after calling in. Lindsey was super patient and explained what she was doing. No pressure for added services, and felt they had my best interest in mind. They took time to get to know me and Dr Boydston was very courteous not pushy like other dentist offices in the area. Very Happy with my first experience and moving my family to this practice as well.

Service is texting your dentist's wife during your mom panic (before 7AM!), and when you call the dentist office you find your kid is already on the schedule!!
We drive nearly 40 min to the dentist, and I would drive farther if we had to. They take such great care of us!! The dentist office isn't exactly where I would expect to say I receive the best service, but it truly is.
