Guns At Purcell Store

Solid store, will be visiting again. I've bought ammunition from here many times, as well as a firearm in great condition. Also makes for a great museum experience.

It's excellent place to purchase guns or ammunition in this small gun's store very professional service and very knowledgeable guys and nice guys too. Plenty of selection and reasonable price.NO Hassles to buy here and friendly.

I had an excellent experience shopping at Purcell Guns! They had exactly what I was looking for and the price was lower than anywhere else that I checked. The owner was very helpful, going above and beyond when it came to helping me decide what I needed. He has made a life-long customer out of my husband and I! Highly recommend them.

Honestly, neither my wife, nor I, can figure out why there seem to be some poor ratings of Purcell. Over the past four years we've had occasion to shop there, purchasing two firearms and having two others delivered to Purcell from other licensed dealers.

Each interaction with the owner has been polite, courteous and professional. At no time have either of us witnessed rudeness to customers.

Just today I picked up a CX4 I ordered shipped to Purcell. The owner was there alone, and despite walking another purchaser through filling out the necessary forms, answering the phone, etc., I was still out of the store in less than twenty minutes.

During that time I saw him patiently discuss various accessories with the other purchaser, and suggest options for the young man to save some money.

All in all, this is a classic local small business operation. I think Purcell is a credit to the town of Purcellville, and I would not hesitate to recommend the establishment to anyone seriously considering the purchase of a firearm or accessories--at whatever level of expertise.

This shop is awful, can't see anything, dark, cluttered, and the man behind counter is by far the rudest man I've ever dealt with in any store, I have no idea we're these positive reviews are coming from they must be friends with him or something. With so many better options for guns store in surrounding area I have no idea why you would choose this place out of them all

I came to this shop to purchase a GLOCK pistol. The price was right and there were ZERO hassles doing business here.

I was very impressed at how much inventory they had stocked up in that tiny store! They really have a lot of stuff. Antiques, surplus, NFA, modern sporting rifles, shotguns and handguns are all there.

Nice small gun store with a solid selection of new and used firearms. Good ammo selection and prices as well.

They seems to have a lot of old collectible m1 carbines and some other nice old military rifles along with some new black rifles.

A lot of people don't like the owner to Purcells because they say he is too grumpy. Dale, the owner, is a good guy and is very friendly and knowledgeable. He just dose not appreciate false war stories or other annoying conversation topics. Stick with asking questions related to what you are looking for/ at and you'll see what I mean.

The pricing at Purcells is much more reasonable than at Loudoun Guns in Leesburg. Purcells also sells military surplus items at good a very good price.
