Gulf Breeze Aerobics & Fitness

For the past couple months I have been staying in Gulf breeze and use this gym exclusively. It's super clean everybody has their own bottle of cleaner and a fresh towel to wipe down all the equipment after you've used it. Everyone has been friendly no matter what time I go there early in the morning late at night midday it's a truly wonderful vibe. Due to family circumstances I have to move back

If you're looking for a place to go in and work out without being bothered or overcrowded this is the place. Love that it's 24 hour convenience and as long as you give them a months notice, you can cancel at any time. Truly a hassle free gym experience that is hard to find at some of those super-gyms. Can't believe this has such a low rating. They're weights... you just lift them.

I grew up in GB this has always been the best gym in the area. I even worked here my senior year before i went to college (2012). Recently the gym has even been renovated and gotten even better. It's an athletes dream. Punching bags, heavy weights, tons of room, good energy and music. My personal favorite is that this is the last gym of a dying breed that still gives out towels when you workout! I always tend to get the best workouts in this gym. Shoutout to Tony for making and keeping this place amazing.

GBAF has a lot of loyal customers who deserve better equipment. The trainers are good and are dedicated to clients, but are not paid a living wage. I have been a member for a few years but am disappointed in the quality of equipment. The gym has many clients, so I am not sure why they cannot purchase newer equipment and pay their trainers better. The lack of consistency in staff is likely due to low pay.

They advertise, even by mailers, that there is no contract and you can go month to month. However, they will make you sign a "contract" in which they can charge you 30 days after you notify them you want to cancel.

They also have a hefty annual maintenance fee they charge once a year. Even if you cancel the day after they charge it they will not return it.

I made several attempts on contacting management about these policies and asking for a refund. A manager never did call me back. However, an employee called me back and said they refused my request.

When moving to this area I checked out many of the local gyms in Pensacola and Gulf Breeze and this gym was by far my favorite. They have a wide variety of equipment, classes, and trainers, nice, clean locker rooms, and access to a sauna and tanning beds. The staff are all very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend checking it out and becoming a member.

I'm guessing the horrible earlier reviews were with the previous management. I have been a member here for almost a year and I don't have a single complaint. The gym is now open 24 hrs and is always very clean. I have worked out at multiple times during the day and it's never packed. The staff has always been nice to my wife and I. They have most of the equipment that you may need.

Read this before considering joining this gym.

1.) Daycare: they did not acknowledge when I dropped off my child, and then the kids inside were passing out peanut butter crackers. My kid is allergic to peanut butter. Childcare 101 should tell you that out of the 24 kids in the room mine is not the only one allergic. Oh, and "Emily" at the front desk told me that it was my problem. She said "you're a nurse and you should know. I'm training to be a nurse and I know better". That's pretty ballsy to say to a p!ssed off customer. Is that customer service?

2.) I was charged two months after canceling, as well as late fees. I had dropped off their cancellation form in person! I called multiple times and they told me that the front desk girl misplaced it and they don't have it. Too bad. I had to make an extra trip to fight with them (because they either put you on eternal hold over the phone or don't give you any sort of intelligible answer), and the response was "it's not fair if we waive all of your charges. We'll only waive your late fees if you pay the balance". How is that fair or rational? I haven't gone to the stupid gym in three months!

3.) Every time I called to schedule my "free" training session, they were supposedly booked and could not accommodate. Mind you, I was a member for over a year and never could cash it in.

4.) Icing on the cake: never received a followup call or courtesy message regarding my balance, so I thought the account was closed two months ago. I got a nice surprise bill in the mail including multiple late fees.

Don't join this joke of a gym! They have failed at every aspect of a business. I could understand if they make mistakes, but they were unwilling to acknowledge it, apologize, or make amends.

Cleaning person vacuums with really loud machine while people are trying to work out. Really annoying! No one wants to hear this. Staff rude and not helpful.

DO NOT GO TO THIS GYM!! My Husband bought me a gift certificate for Christmas but I decided not to use it.i called to talk o the manager Josh and he would not take my calls instead he had a trainer call me and pretend to be him! I never spoke to Josh nor old he rectify the problem! My Husband and I had the contract and it says I was owed a refund within 30 days,which was a lie! Tony the trainer We spoke with lied to My Husband&I and told me We would get our refund in a couple of days,NOT!! We just received our refund after threatening legal action against them!!
