It has been a pleasure storing our items at this storage area for the last three years. The prices are competitive, the lockers are exceptional with easy access. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

Customer Service is fantastic and the process was very quick and easy! Promotional deal was very convenient and usage of their truck was very inexpensive and no hassle! Highly recommend!

Update on my last review! I am SO impressed with Guardian Storage. This has been a very hectic time in my life since my parents are downsizing from a 3 bedroom house (of 20+ years) to an apartment downtown. Since my mom felt so safe when she visited my storage unit, she decided that's where her and my dad would get one. I called before going to reserve a 5x10 unit that was climate and humidity controlled for my parents. They knew they would be storing old photo albums and keepsakes that were temperature sensitive.
Brittany at Guardian storage is AMAZING! I made an appointment with her over the phone for my mom to go in and sign the lease and for us to rent a truck. She made everything so simple when we arrived. It only costs $20 to rent the truck to move all your things from your house to the storage unit. Brittany showed us how to type in your code to get in and out of the building, and how to get to the loading dock. Backing the full truck into the loading dock during construction in the Strip District was my biggest accomplishment of the day! Haha! Brittany also showed us how to unlatch the back of the truck and open it up. She was super knowledgeable and patient. I have been back to my storage unit and my parents storage unit more times this week than most people probably go in a month, but it is just so convenient! I can't recommend it enough.

I've recently started taking my electronics recycling here because they receive items (excluding TVs) in affiliation with Evolution Ecycling on the Southside. What a time and gas saver for me. Friendly staffer, Heath, showed me where to drop them off on the second floor so I could do it independently my next trip (which was this morning ). It is a very clean, well-lit facility with an easy access parking lot. I just shared this on our local Nextdoor, too, with more than 26,000 local members. Better that we recycle electronics than let them end up in landfill.

Fast and friendly to book. I wish I had used Centre Ave for storage instead of Millvale (very close to each other) because my movers only had a 26' truck. We had planned on using Guardian's truck that day, but it went into the shop. The driver could not get the big truck around the tight alleys at Millvale to use the loading dock, so we had to move everything on carts to the lift and then up and around, so it took a lot longer than it should have. If you have a big truck, I would avoid Millvale. The units themselves are immaculately clean and secure. It would be nice to have lights on timers or those stick up, motion activated LED lights you can get at any major retailer in there to see.

Prescott is super nice! He's professional and personable. He explains everything right the first time so no questions are left unanswered. He takes his time with you and gives you his undivided attention.

The facility itself is bright, clean and spacious. I feel comfortable leaving my personal belongings here; the 24/7 surveillance cameras catch everything. No one moves around this place without being seen. The office has a variety of moving and storage supplies available to purchase right on the spot. If you are moving in with a ton of stuff like me, the "loading dock" makes it super easy and efficient. There are three ways to enter/exit the building and the parking lot is a decent size.. This is only my second time using Guardian Self Storage and I like this facility the best!

I had a great experience renting my truck and unit. Totally painless. Lydia was very professional and efficient. Great facility. I would definitely recommend it to anyone in Pittsburgh that needs to store their stuff!
