I am writing this review on behalf of my mother, who was there today for dinner and was almost charged $12 for ONE AVOCADO. She was there with a group of women, all of whom ordered bowls of caldo de res. They asked for an avocado on the side so that they could add it to their soup. Everything was fine, until they got the bill. THEY WERE CHARGED $12 FOR ONE, SINGLE, SLICED AVOCADO. $12 for one avocado? Outrageous. When my mother pointed out that they were charged $12 for one avocado, the waiter said that the price was correct and asked if she needed to speak with a manager. After speaking with the manager and telling him that they refused to pay $12 for a single sliced avocado, he "generously" lowered the price to $5. Is this a joke? They paid the $5, but neither of them will ever be back.
BE WARNED: DO NOT ADD AN AVOCADO TO YOUR MEAL UNLESS YOU ARE OKAY WITH PAYING $12. DOUBLE CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS, PEOPLE.
I can't even believe this place would take advantage of its customers in this way. Were you hoping they'd just pay the $12?Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Feb 5, 20241 check-in
I have been to this restaurant many times in the past 10 years! We mostly come here for birthdays, but we also bring out of town guests too.
It's a well maintained restaurant that is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, seven days a week. The decor and layout is perfect for intimate parties of two or booths and long tables to accommodate large groups and gatherings for all occasions. I've even attended a fundraiser here.
Breakfast is buffet style, lunch and dinner is ordered from the regular menu.
The highlight and what sets this place apart from most restaurants is the Mariachi Show. The musicians and singers put on a great show. The musicians will walk through the restaurant to "seranade" your date. All you have to do is let the Server know that you have a special request. Note: it is customary to tip the singer.
There is no cover charge or fee for the entertainment, except Special Events. I saw an advertisement for Valentine's Day. Reservations, tickets, and a deposit is required for this event.
There is a large parking lot, no charge, no Valet service. If you're in the area, give them a visit and don't forget to tell 'em that Rosemary sent ya!!Helpful 13Thanks 5Love this 14Oh no 0Business owner information

We've been coming here since 2015, we took a little break from 2020 till now mainly because of covid etc. So we made a reservation for 5pm and arrived at 4:45, we were sat right at 5pm. The male manager was taken care of us, started great got us our drinks, Chips and salsa and the show started shortly after.
The volume was way too loud to enjoy the singing, They weren't really playing the usual music and they danced way less/ crowd interaction. Then they sang an old song in English and sounds bad! The manager took our order, We asked for . Molcajete with extra queso fresco and to add Chorizo and for my daughter the kids chicken taco meal and add an extra taco with Asada and we asked for Queso with Chorizo. They brought us the queso with chorizo , the molcajete bowl had foil with the cheese dumped in and small amount of chorizo and this is $18+, first of all they use Mozzarella cheese not queso fresco and had no flavor, they gave u tiny portion. Than when our Molcajete arrived same thing in foil not touching the stone giving it that flavor, wasn't even hot, more mozzarella cheese without flavor and the meat look like was from the frozen bag, including the shrimps that tasted odd and no green onions with it and missing that extra chorizo, the kids meal the chicken was so dry and nasty my daughter had one bite and almost choked, then they brought her someone else plate and took it back and served it to someone else after she'd touched it.
They brought her 2nd taco which was chicken and should of been beef. She barley ate we end up just sending everything back and enjoying the chips and salsa which were the only good thing they had. The frozen drinks were so frozen and had small drops of booze and over priced $14.99 each for a Piña colada.
Last thing was they brought a kids drink out and didn't have the lid secure my husband went to put a straw in and the lip pop off and spilled down on him and the booth and couldn't get anyone attention to clean it and had no napkins at our table. The manager did remove the Molcajete but not my daughter meal that he clearly could see she didn't touch. We use to love this place but Never will i go back its clearly not the same and gone down hill. Mariachi wasn't great at all. Overall I Wish we never went and wasted our money.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - Richard A.Palmdale, CA162Jan 21, 2024

THE BRUNCH IS VALUE PRICED, The foid is always perfection! They have brunch available every day. On the weekends they have Mariachi shows. The wait staff is very friendly and gives great service without hovering!! Their margaritas are to die for!! This is one of my favorite places. I have been coming here for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. The quality of the food has never diminished, and the quantity of choices is amazing!!

Located right off the 10 FWY off Puente Ave exit in the Home Depot shopping center with plenty of parking. Growing up in the area, I've been to Guadalajara Grill numerous times and have always been happy with every experience. Service is good, the restaurant is clean with beautiful Mexican traditional decor.
Live Mariachi entertainment (which is part of the appeal of dining here) is included in their competitive and fair prices. I believe their shows are:
Thursday and Friday starting at 7PM.
Saturday starting at 3PM.
Sunday Brunch starting at 9AM.
If you plan to dine during the weekend evening hours, it's best to make reservations as they are prioritized, but note that you won't be seated until your ENTIRE party arrives.
They have a weekday lunch buffet at $15.99 from 10AM - 2PM and Saturdays/Holidays at $20.99 from 9AM - 2PM with plenty of food items that include a "Taquiza" (Taco Bar).
Happy hour is all-day Monday - Wednesday and on Thursday & Friday from 10AM - 6PM.
Overall, I really enjoy this authentic Mexican restaurant every visit.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 1Business owner information

Manager in the picture is EXTREMELY RUDE. She literally just went off on the people who pay her bills just for asking where we are in the waiting list after standing here for 3 HOURS. "If you ask where you are in the waiting list, it's only going to delay your seating" were her words exactly. I hope she gets fired.
First and last time we come here.Helpful 8Thanks 8Love this 5Oh no 4Business owner information

Hello, I am the person in the picture and I am one of the restaurant managers. The customer whom I was speaking to had checked in as a walk-in for a group of 20 people, however her group was incomplete. We explained to her we could not seat her until her group was complete, we asked her to check back in once everyone was here. She proceeded to harass our hostess at the door after every small group we sat. For over two hours while she waited for her group to finish arriving she harassed me and my staff. I did not disrespect this lady in any way all I repeated to her is what we told her from the very beginning which is to check back in when everyone is here, and to please stop interrupting my hostess when she is trying to do her job. We had a list of complete parties that needed to be seated and she was delaying their seating by harassing us after we already explained to her multiple times that she needed to wait until her group is complete. If you were part of the group of whom that lady was waiting for maybe you should speak to her because at the end of your visit she came and apologized to me and explained that your group was pressuring her and that is why she kept harassing us at the door. We are a business and we are all paid by customer consumption but we are also paid to make sure we follow the restaurant seating policy to be able to operate. We are very thorough with walk-ins and we explain our policy so that the group can make the best decision for themselves if they’d like to wait. But if you choose to stay you need to respect our staff and our policy. So I ask that you remove this picture because it is false information, I think you need to hear the whole story from the lady whom checked in, the one whom again apologized to me at the end of your group’s visit. These are issues we deal with on a regular basis and it goes along with the job when you have customers that aren’t cooperative but it is unfair to blame staff who are trying to do our job, we are human too and do not deserve to be disrespected.
