Dang! what a find!
Love going to these Asian supermarkets where i can sample different quick and easy eats in the aisles. But the icing on the cake was the food court along the side of the left wall upon entry. Sushi, Dim Sum, Thai, Korean... I mean can you really go wrong here, this place was suggested by my Executive Sous Chef, who frequents Thailand 2 times a year. food is incredibly fresh and flavorful.
Among us four that went, we went to three different food spots, the Chinese for a spicy dumpling dish, another for a huge Bao, and the last was for some Thai eats.
All off the charts, hot, spicy, and full of umami. And we went home with about 400 dollars worth of groceies. YUM!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Jun 28, 2023
This supermarket was my go-to when my dad and I stayed in Alpharetta for a few months after the COVID-19 pandemic began. It reminded me of the stores back home in Shanghai, China as well as the larger scale stores like Ranch 99 that are all over California.
Like other reviewers mentioned, the prices are super reasonable! You're able to find anything you need, and I will admit the size of the store and product availability does intimidate me. The food court is nice, but probably not as good as the one at H-mart. The cashiers take care of the long lines very efficiently. Lastly, I love that it is near a Sweet Hut location. Again, two errands in one! The only reason I don't go here anymore is that I live ITP and it is too far away.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - C H.Fort Myers, FL132619Jul 13, 2023
Huge Asian supermarket with a lot of choices and fair prices. Visited for the first time last weekend and will definitely be back.
One negative was our cashier was literally on her phone texting WHILE she was ringing us up. Not after or before. We bagged most of our groceries which is not a huge deal, but we have definitely never experienced that level of laziness/indifference lol.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Dec 4, 2022
The supermarket was packed when I visited. I was told by my friend that this is a popular Asian supermarket. There is a GW supermarket in NYC but it was good to see there is one in GA. This location has a food court on the left when u entered and a supermarket on the right. They have a bunch of selections and they were well stocked. We picked up BBQ meats for lunch at the food court for takeout. The food was decent and reasonable prices.

Extremely poor service attitude, improper management, poor order, and items are not added in time when there is a heavy flow of people.

I drove all the way from Charlotte NC to Atlanta with friends for a road trip because I heard that there were much better dim sum restaurants and Asian supermarkets.
Yes, I agreed. It was a 3-4 hours drive. But it's worth.
This Great Wall Supermarket was translated as 大中華 that it took me sometime to find it as we arrived very early in the morning.
It is a huge Asian supermarket with all kinds of Asian vegetables, fruits, seafood, foods and produces. Theres a large food court with Cantonese BBQ, foods of the north & south China. If I live close by. I don't think I will cook at home. The prices are pretty acceptable and reasonable.
Be prepared to spend hours shopping there. Bring a cooler for foods that require to keep cool.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - L P.Alpharetta, GA3275Jul 6, 2023Updated review
Got bugs in the rice and I was not able to return it and they didn't want it back. Cashier are rude and don't speak a word of English.

They don't have ground pork already packaged up so you have to grab it from the guys working behind the meat counter. I stood there and waited 10mins and they just pointed to a different person and proceeded to help others. Worst customer service ever. And manager wasn't event working to talk to. Also herbs are never available.

Rude cashier.....
I know "customer service" is not your top priority; however do not expect the customer to bag their on groceries. There is a difference between helping cashier to bag the groceries versus expecting customer to do it. I have no problem help cashier to bag my groceries, but don't open the groceries bags and throw it right there and expected me to put my own groceries in it and you ( cashier) walked away. NO MA'AM..... I do not play that kind of games.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Curt W.Kennesaw, GA05Apr 8, 2023
Absolute best selection of asian grocery products in Atlanta. Prices are very competitive and selection is vast. Food court is one of the best. Latin selection is limited.
