Chicken curry extra spicy and garlic naan are my go to here. Haven't explored much of the menu but I don't need to. I found what I like and it's good every time.
Prices are about what you would expect in the area. Not a bargain for the portion size by any means, but reasonable. The dinning room is closed and only offers take out. I order ahead and the service is fast.
If you like Indian food, this place feels authentic. I've been here a few times recently and I will eat here again.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Giovanna F.Tacoma, WA182240992May 14, 2023
I've eaten here more than I should've due to convenience. Tried it again last night and sadly, it will be my last. I ordered the Samosa, Naan, the Mix Tikka Grill plate and 12oz of Butter sauce. The prices were steep and the taste was not up to par. The extra sauce was $7.95 it was so red and too sweet (let me know if this is normal?). It didn't taste like Butter (chicken) sauce to me. The mix grill only had 2 tiny pieces of each protein and everything was over cooked and stale! Shrimp- rubber, fish- tough, lamb- barely chewable, chicken- dry and hard, tikka chicken on the bone- dry. It was honestly disappointing for what I paid. The description said it came w rice but there was no rice in my delivery. The samosa were good but you have to pay extra for the chutney and plum sauce- $1.95 each tiny sauce cup. The only thing that tasted fresh and hot out of the oven was the Naan.
Overall, another let down of a meal that cost $$$.Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 1 - Aug 25, 2023
Visited based on high recommendations from a friend. Spacious location but they were only providing take out service at the time. We ordered chicken Tikka masala, lamb vindaloo, saag paneer, garlic naan, samosas, chai tea, and rice. Total was around $50. We waited a little less than 30 minutes and it was totally worth it! Will return again but will call ahead next time.

Excellent food and quick service - our go to for Indian cuisine.
You can either grab take out or have it delivered- either way you will not regret the choice.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mark H.Puyallup, WA04Aug 10, 2023
I really enjoyed my food. The pakoras and samosas were as good as I've ever had. I'm going back for more soon. It's amazing how much variety the menu has.
I wish I'd found this restaurant sooner.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Erikka R.Tacoma, WA0141Nov 23, 2023

Their butter chicken is amazing! This restaurant started my love for Indian food over a decade ago. Sure, the decor is outdated but their food is amazing. The owners are a lovely couple, very kind to patrons. The atmosphere is more of a cafe as opposed to a fine dining. I don't have any complaints. Yes their menu has gone up in price, but so has all of the restaurant industry in the past 1 to 2 years.
Great little hidden gem in Lakewood!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Irene D.Eatonville, WA016Jan 18, 2024

Best Indian cuisine in Tacoma, no doubt! Our go to for take out without question. They are certainly sticklers when it comes to the name on your order for pick up but, hey, they keep things in line. I say this only because sometimes we order under a different account so we don't always ask for the same name on the ticket. That's on us. I'm sure they've had some mix ups, hence the need to be particular. They're always busy ; and that's a good thing! I can't really speak of the ambiance since we've only done take out. I believe they're not available for dine in anyway. Definitely should try this place if you haven't! Cheers!

We ordered takeout. We ordered chicken korma (yum!!), lamb briyani (yum yum!!!) and samosas(woohoo!!) it's safe to say we have our new favorite Indian restaurant. Our food was delivered hot and with plenty of rice.
I think the garlic naan was spicy, but I could have been sensitive. I'll probably just order plain naan next time.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
