Great Clips

I moved to the area recently and needed to find a new place for my haircuts. Brooke did an excellent job figuring out what I wanted for my haircut from my input and it came out looking just like I wanted (I think I have a difficult hair style to get right).

I'll definitely go back and request Brooke again.

Had one of the worst experiences to date at this location. I usually get a "1" on the sides and back of my head with 1-1/2" left on top...simple right? Well, I had splotches of long hair all along the sides and back of my head, the top of my head was very uneven, and they trimmed only one sideburn.

But that's not wasn't even the disappointing part, when I came back to get it fixed they had closed 20 min early (I came in at 8:40 p.m and their sign/website said they were open till 9:00 p.m.). They told me they had closed and were just sitting around on their phones.

I recommend choosing another barber since the cheap prices of Great Clips isn't worth the poor quality and bad customer service.

This is where hairdressers go to die, to the Land of Misfit Hairdressers, for people who generally can't manage their own finances, and who can't play well with others.

I had just left the nail salon and needed a quick trim so I thought I'd brave Great Clips. How bad could it be?

I was the only customer in the store. A man came up from the back and invited me to his chair. I began to tell him what I wanted. I was trying to describe "chunking" but couldn't remember the word, and the man had no idea what I was talking about, even though he said he's cut hair for 10 years. When he couldn't understand what I was talking about, he decided he didn't want to cut my hair and got someone from the back.

She was a large, unattractive woman who didn't say hello when she came out, instead saying only, "Over here." I ignored the tone, and asked how many years of experience she had.

She lost her mind. "I'VE BEEN CUTTING HAIR FOR 23 YEARS! I DON'T NEED MY SKILLS QUESTIONED!"

I was floored. I said, "I've had enough attitude for today" and left.

I'm sorry, but if you have 23 years of experience cutting hair and you're working at Great Clips, you obviously suck as a hairdresser, a human, or both. And I have a right to ask nicely how much experience you have.

Time and time again, great clips has disappointed me. This time, the hairdresser, Paula, took all of 10 minutes to ruin the hair I've carefully grown out. I asked for "very short layers on the top and very long layers on the bottom, kind of like a scene look; like the way it is, just shortened back up"
My old hair already had the look I wanted, it was just grown out and needed trimming up. This women took 3 inches off my length, did not correct or add a single layer, did not texture my hair, and chopped all of my now non-existent layers (and bangs) in quick, "straight" cuts. Another hair dresser even gave her a "what the hell are you doing?" look as she cut my hair. I will now be scheduling an appointment with a $50 hairdresser to correct this awful mistake. If you love your hair, do not dare go to great clips.

Great haircut at an amazing price! Mechelle is awesome! She cuts my husband and kids hair too now.

Great place! I got in and out in a timely matter. All the ladies cut well. Very inviting.

I took my son in today to get a cut. The woman with blue highlights in her hair was INCREDIBLY RUDE! She was put out taking info. Put out that we didn't make an appointment online. When she did his hair, she left long pieces hanging. Didn't blend well, didn't converse with my son at all. Obviously hates being there too I guess. What ever happened to customer service??? She did not deserve the tip I left and I will never ever go to any great clips EVER! It's a human pet smart or petco and they suck!

Please don't be fooled by the name. I went here the other day and was treated like shit. One of the young ladies skipped me on the waiting list and when it was 15 minutes past my "10-15 minute wait time", the other woman cut my hair quickly and almost aggressively. She barely spoke a word to me the entire time. I was dumbfounded at what I had done to get such treatment. The end result is uneven and way too thick on the top. Easily one of my more embarrassing cuts. I feel confined to still wearing my hat. I don't care how close it is to my house, I will not be going back.

I went in to get my bangs trimmed today. The lady started to give me a hair cut. I explained again that I only wanted my bangs trimmed and she said that she would trim everything for the same price as just the bang trim ($8). After the cut and horrible choppy bang trim she charged me $16... ‍ never going back!!

I came in at about seven o'clock in the evening and received quick, courteous service and a great cut for my job interviews this week. I didn't catch my stylist's name (I'm bad with names) but her and her co-worker stylist guy had great attitudes for so late on a busy day!
