Grand Forks Auto Wrecking

Any place that has a 500 pound pig that lives there can't be that bad......should change their name to Grand Porks!

Called Wed to have an 04 kia rio removed. They said they'd be here tomorrow. It's tomorrow. I took the day off work with no pay to wait for them. Never showed, no record of ever talking to me. Wasted an entire day and out 8 hours pay.

It's not realistic to expect a salvage yard to have each and every part but these guys were quick to find me the best deal from another yard. I ended buying a set of hubcaps from them also and the price was way better than anything on ebay. A pleasure to work with.

Dropped by here after calling to check availability. I got 7 pieces for my car that were estimated at $1380 from a shop. I paid $250. Plus I got 2 matching ford aluminum rims with nice new tires on them for $60. Awesome prices! The guys are very helpful and the customer service was terrific. Thank you Vince! You rock!

Found them online. Called and ordered a part. The price was fair. They took it off of the vehicle for me and I picked it up. The part was what I was looking for. Customer service was good. Policies are plainly visible.

Won't ship parts and won't take payment over the phone because "the credit card machine takes a long time to work," so customers are to come by to pay, then wait several hours while they pull the part. Interesting business policies...

Went into the office and asked if I could pull the linkage for the handle and locks inside the doors. Was told yes the first time I went in. Went out to remove them realized I didn't have the tools to do it. So I left and came back 2 weeks later with the tools I needed and asked if I still could and the same guy told me that they do not pulling apart doors. So now must drive to lakewood to the nearest pick n pull hoping tbhey have the correct truck for me to pull from. Do not recommend.

Buyers beware! Do not shop here! We purchased a used engine fo $500.00 that didn't work at all. We tried to get a refund or another engine and they said "30 day warranty has expired, you're on your own". Even though we told them it took us that long to have it installed and we never had the opportunity to use the engine even if it worked. So we're out of our hard earned money ($500.00) in this economy. Customer service is very poor. We are also contacting the BBB and considering a lawsuit.
