Ambiance: 5/5, perfect seaside view
Breakfast items: 5/5 definitely get the croissant or something on fresh bread
Coffee: not pictured but the cappuccino is pretty good
The shop owner was friendly and answered my questions candidly about which items to order and which were not as popular. It seemed lively but not overly crowded for a Saturday morning. Would go againHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Sylvia R.Scripps Ranch, San Diego, CA2672720Oct 20, 2023
Everything was great. Not sure why people stressing... the service was wonderful (shoutout to Alani). The chef gave me cream cheese after I ordered which was so nice. The breakfast sandwich was delicious. The chef is soft-spoken but once you get to know him, he warms up to you.
This place is great. I'm lowkey glad it's not that popular because every time I order my food is ready super fast and the views are stunning. I have come here multiple times, once after a long day of being in the sun, and they were such a relief. It had no line and it made all my panini dreams come true.
FYI: the portions are normal-sized. My friend and I split a panini and it was perfect. Maybe order two paninis if you are a large male. The prices, service, atmosphere, and food are the reasons why I come back and love this place.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Abby B.Austin, TX2036Jan 28, 2024
The lady at the register was super friendly and helpful. We ordered the cobb salad with ranch, buffalo panini, iced vanilla latte, and oj. I think both the ranch and oj could have been better, but the food was great overall. I can't recommend the buffalo panini more. We came here as a date so the vibe was awesome. We loved looking out at the ocean and eating our meals. They also allowed our puppy to come in and sit with us.

As small business owners, it breaks my heart to write this but as local San Diegans, this place was a total disappointment. Portions were ridiculous. My husband ordered the pesto panini and it was a kids size. I order the Greek eggs and asked if they could increase the 4oz to 6oz, he flat out said no "it's pre-measured." Seriously? You can't give me 6oz of eggs? Ok.
The only thing going for this place is the location. The view is outstanding so maybe it's worth while to order a coffee or grab an ice cream. Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 29, 2022
This is place is right in front of the beach and the heart is La Jolla (:
It smells sooo good as you by it (: i totally forgot the name Of the sandwich i ordered but it was delicious !
It was so cute and funny how the sandwich was served with gold fish rather than chips or anything else ! But it paired well with the sandwich hence their name!
Please get their freshly made lemonade! It was so refreshing sipping on it while looking at the view (:
Def will come back to try their other food and drink items!
They do serve alcohol that's a plus!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Apr 7, 2022
I saw this place while exploring La Jolla Cove and decided to stop by for breakfast!
Food: Ordered a breakfast bagel. It came with eggs, cheddar cheese, and bacon. The sandwich was definitely impressive in size, but unfortunately lacking in flavor. There was no seasoning or salt in any of the items. We needed to use hot sauce to add taste to the bagel. On the positive side, it was hot and ready quickly. There is also ice water available by the front for guests to grab.
Service: Fast and prompt service. It didn't seem like they really wanted to engage in conversation. Food was brought out to our table within 5 minutes.
Parking: Difficult since this place is along La Jolla Cove. There is 3 hour parking along the side and some street parking available.
Ambience: It's a quiet spot with plenty of seating. I loved that you can sit outside facing the water and have a wonderful view while enjoying your meal!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Shannon W.VA, VA21222644Jan 23, 2023
I walked by this place and decided to stop in. Has a very nice view of the water. The food was nothing special. The sandwiches were made with store bought bread. The latte was good. I would recommend this place for a coffee with the view.

Stopped in for some iced coffee, which was reasonably priced compared to Starbucks and other coffee specialty places. Service was fast and friendly and the view is amazing. Nice to sit in the shade and watch the ocean, people, and listen to the sea lions. Cool 80s tunes too! I knocked off one star because the bathroom was pretty gross. I was glad I only went in to wash my hands.

Great location, view of the water but the inside does not match the curb appeal. Bathroom was kind of gross. Pastries looked like something you buy at costco. Went in because I had to use the bathroom and bought a drink as a courtesy since the sign said that the bathroom was for customers only. So, I had a funny experience lol
The lady behind the counter was nice but something was off. She charged me twice for my drink. I had to point it out to her. I asked for light ice and she fills the cup to the brim with ice. Than proceeded to pour my drink in and as she hands it to me it's spilling over. I didn't complain because i had to walk out fast before i started busting up
Laughing. Idk if she was high or what. But it was definitely interesting.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Valerie V.San Diego, CA08Dec 19, 2023
This petite establishment is a speedy spot that offers Pepperidge Farm goldfish. The café boasts a beautiful view, and the sandwiches are not only delicious but also feature really nice bread.
