Can someone point me in the direction of good hibachi? Do we no longer like hibachi, what's going on here! To clarify, in my opinion (in my opinion!), good hibachi is tender chicken that is saucy, with adequate vegetables.
With all that being said, when I typed in hibachi this restaurant popped up. Only problem, their current online menu does include hibachi. Any hoo, we pressed on. We ordered: lettuce wraps, pork dumplings, vegetable spring roll, chicken with garlic sauce, spicy basil fried rice (customized), and broccoli stir fry.
Everything we received was good, more on that later.
We're kind of rice snob. We literally eat rice almost every night! The rice was pretty good (for the record, I understand Asian recipes typically include short grain rice ). The overall food kinda reminded me of the Durham location of Shiki Sushi (Haven't eaten there recently) back in the day.
I think our favorite was the sauce which had a complex vinegar (I mean that in the best way possible) taste. Again, everything was good. In retrospect, we should have tried the Goji Entree, duh!
We had an issue, where we didn't receive the appetizers. After 3 calls over a week's time , I think it's resolved. Would have been nice to throw in an appetizer after all the back and forth, but I appreciate the courtesy after each interaction. Definitely looking forward to trying again.

Run, run, run, do not walk to GOJI BISTRO for their Pho bowls. This broth is so deep and flavorful you don't even need the rice noodles. Make sure to get the bowl with the brisket, so melt in your mouth tender. YUM! Thanks - we'll be back!

I seriously cannot give enough stars! Walk in, greeted by Mason, right away, sat down with menus he brings out a gluten-free menu out of habit. How amazing is that? Making sure that all customers can have a menu. The gluten-free menu? Absolutely ginormous!
The regular peoples menu :-) was huge as well. I have the spring rolls, I don't know what the dipping sauce was made of, maybe unicorn glitter? I'm not sure it was the best sauce I've had in my entire life. Had general TSO's chicken probably the best I've had in my entire life seriously!
Mason made sure that our drinks were full the entire time, came over to check on our food, the appropriate amount of time, and overall was an amazing server.
The location is great, the seating was very accommodating, nice quiet, friendly atmosphere.
Prices were absolutely reasonable, and portions hugeHelpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - J M.San Francisco, CA10259414Nov 30, 2023Updated review
Had the Mongolian Beef with white rice today. It tasted good, but only had green onions as the other ingredient, other than the beef. The beef taste good and the sauce was good. But it seemed to lack more traditional ingredients. I added some green beans which were very good.

This place is spot on if you are looking for Chinese, Japanese, Thai or Vietnamese food.
The service we got from Ken was incredibly friendly and informative.
I ordered the Tom Yum soup with shrimp and Singapore Street Noodles.
There is a full gluten-free menu and they have a great local craft beer and sake section. They even had Asahi on tap.
I like my food spicy, so an extra helpful of chili oil did the trick.
The Singapore noodles were spot on and had great helpings of shrimp, chicken and vegetables mixed in, as it should. The curry had a little kick, but not overly spicy. I had to load up the Tom Yum with chili oil. If I don't turn beet red, it's not spicy enough.
I will absolutely be going back.
Remember to tip well.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jasmine W.Raleigh, NC46986Apr 16, 2023
Service was excellent. The waiter was able to help me choose a great beverage to drink. The ginger mojito drink is very refreshing and the ginger was strong and flavor but not overpowering. The ambience was family oriented and date night vibes.
We ordered the chicken pad Thai noddles and the ginger vegetable fried rice. Bothe dishes were flavorful , not salty and had a lot of vegetables. I would recommend this place to eat.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
