Godiva Chocolatier

I am going to be honest here and say I have been seeing a lot of Godiva pictures on instagram recently. That was my main reason for going here. They photographed so nicely in other peoples photos I had been seeing that it made me want to go try this place out.

I walk by Godiva in the mall all the time. I notice what they have out on display but nothing is every really pulling me in as an "I need this." That may be because I do not have a huge sweet tooth and am not a all the time chocolate fan.

I ordered the swirl soft serve on a plain cone. This was pricey but I assume it is because Godiva uses higher quality ingredients. With that said, I am did not review the nutritional facts or anything but maybe it is also healthier? I don't know. Honestly... it tasted the same as the soft serve swirl ice cream you get anywhere else. Mine had an overwhelming chocolate side so you must like chocolate to order this which is probably obvious but I figured I would say it anyways.

Save this place for a nice box of chocolates or chocolate covered strawberries on a special day. I would not recommend splurging on the ice cream. The cone was nothing special either.

I didn't get any chocolates today, just a soft-serve cone. I ordered a dark chocolate soft-serve in their plain waffle cone. It was okay. I think I was shooting for delicious amazingness, which is usually what the Godiva chocolates taste like, but I don't know, the flavor was just okay.
There wasn't much else to my visit today. The employees were friendly and helpful. The person making our cones made a mistake on our order, which maybe he did on purpose so he could eat it himself, LOL, but it was fine. He just got us what we wanted and we were on our way. The store was nice and pretty and clean. I'd get another cone if I were here I guess, but I rarely ever am.

Best friggin hot chocolate I have had in a while man! Nothing but a good hot cup of hot chocolate on a cold day! I was always hesitant to come in here, I was with my friend shopping and she suggested it. I couldn't finish the whole thing because I'm hella sensitive to chocolate. I was bouncing off the walls after a few sips. Anyways it was good and some of the deserts here are rich as hell

Customer service here is awesome. Mark, the manager, is very outgoing and super helpful. Their soft-serve parfaits are delicious and a good amount of serving due to the richness of it.

Best soft serve ice cream ever! Even though it's expensive ($6.60), it always satisfies my sweet tooth craving and I can't help myself lol!! They serve it in cups or cones (plain cones, chocolate dipped cones, chocolate almond dipped cones, etc) so they have a large variety to choose from. Take all of my money Godiva!! :D

I really am a sucker for good chocolate and Godiva is one of my best in my opinion! Their gold boxes of chocolate put smiles on women's faces but the secret is that us men love them too!

Although the store is small, they have offerings from single truffles up to $100 boxes of chocolates. They do everything from fresh dipped strawberries and cake pops to birthday cake inspired truffle packs. Their clearance section is great because you can get literally the same boxes of chocolate for about 20% off. No melting or close expiration on the clearance items.

Expect up selling. It's hard to walk out without giving into a freshly dipped chocolate covered strawberry or a single truffle for the walk to the next store.

Holy cow every time I'm in here my sweet tooth won't let me leave without something. I like getting items from here as gifts. Hard to go wrong with a box of really good Chocolates for a gift.

I don't think I could work here without a great dental plan and anti hyper pills.

I'm not really an ice cream person but for no good reason I was really craving their ice cream. The moment I got it I've never seen a more beautiful ice cream ever!! It was so delicious!! I will definitely will be coming back!! The workers there are also so nice!!

Shopping at Godiva reminds me of wandering through Harrods. Nice merchandise but my Chinese value for money alarm is in full alert mode!

There are undoubtedly nice chocolates on sale here but the price has stopped me from making this my go to chocolate shop for gifts. See's is probably more my price point and they're also more forthcoming with free samples to entice me
