GMC Acupuncture Clinic

I've been going to see Ghassan and Mary for many years and it has been incredible. Ghassan has given me treatments for everything from allergies to the joint discomfort I've felt from Lymes disease. He is extremely informative and willing to give you any background into the treatment. The atmosphere is pleasant and has a familial feel. I would highly suggest them.

Was sent here for my first of 6 visits by Workman's Comp for a back injury. My thereapist, Kara, was amazing! Very impressed so far. Side note: they recently moved to a new address on Jackson Drive, be sure to confirm the address.

First off; I don't like needles but was driven to find some much needed relief from a hip injury. Tried normal route with GP Doctor but did not want to live on taking drugs every day to mask the pain. So I made an appointment with Dr Elkhoury. From the first session, I was able to walk without a severe limp and I went twice a week for about 5 weeks. I also took advantage of the great massages his assistants gave. I am now pain free in my hip. So when I tweaked my elbow a little while ago, and it didn't go away; I called GMC and just finished my first session. Again got some relief. And as far as the needles, no big deal. In fact I look forward to them. Accupuncture (done right) really does work.

Twice. That's how many times my life has been changed by GMC Acupuncture....

I'm writing this today because I recently had experienced my first "tension headache". After 4 days of throbbing, I contacted Kaiser who prescribed OTC anti-inflammatories, after 2 more days of pain I got a Rx for Motrin. Desperate for relief from the pain, I went in to GMC Acupuncture for help. By the end of the hour long session my headache was about 30% of what I walked in with, and within 2 hours it was completely gone! It's been 4 days now, and no relapse of that horrible headache!!!

My first experience with GMC Acupuncture was many years ago. As a previous marathon runner I had been sidelined with Plantar Faciaitis. I had tried everything recommended by my Sharp team of Dr's, culminating in a surgical plantar release. They had done all that they could to help me, however the result showed no relief from the pain, and I was still not able to run or even walk pain free. Sadly, I accepted that this condition and limitations were something I would just endure for the rest of my life, until a friend recommended GMC Acupuncture. I was doubtful that any small needles could cure what a team of doctors could not, but went in mostly to appease my friend. 6 weeks of treatments later I was completely pain free! That was over 6 years ago, and I've had no relapse at all! Competitive cycling, running, hiking, I've got it all back, loving my active life again.

So for me, not necessarily a typical "alternative medicine" type girl, I can tell you that this stuff just flat out works, not sure how it works, but it works. Don't be like me and suffer too long :-) Make that appointment, and let them get you back to enjoying your life again!

Acupuncture and massage! Friendly faces that make you feel welcome from the time you walk in until you leave, well knowledge staff the truly cares for their clients well being! An all round amazing experience!

Best acupuncture treatment I've received in all of San Diego. Having tried a few other places, this one tops them all. Doctor Elkhoury really cares about his patients and works MAGIC. I come to Ghassan in pain and he really listens to the issue at hand. An hour later, I'm leaving with pep in my step and a smile on my face. I'm still amazed with the results every session. I recommend him to all my family and friends

This guy is a QUACK! He charged my insurance for multiple services that WERE NOT PERFOMED including chiropractor services and he is not a chiropractor! Do not and I repeat, do not go to this guy. oh and I was charged a co-pay...SUPER FARCE!

I have been going here for.many years and have found this clinic to be the most helpful and amazing. They have assisted me with pain management as well as showing me how to learn to relax. Stress management has been so great and even assisting with hot flashes and weight management. I highly recomment Gusson and his staff!
