When you walk into Gary's Barbershop in Scottsdale, AZ, you might just come out feeling like royalty, and I'm not exaggerating! This old school gem is a throwback in the best way possible, and let me tell you about my barber, Roman. This guy is the Michelangelo of barbers!

Imagine sitting down for a beard trim and a straight razor head shave, and ending up in what feels like a coronation ceremony. Roman doesn't just trim your beard; he sculpts it with the precision of a surgeon. He's so meticulous that he quadruple-checks his work - yes, you read that right, FOUR times - just to make sure you're looking nothing less than regal.

Now, let's talk about the royal treatment. It's not just a shave and a trim; it's an experience. You're pampered with not one, not two, but at least four hot towels. And just when you think it can't get any better, Roman surprises you with a head and shoulder massage that's so relaxing, you might forget you're in a barbershop and not a spa.

I left Gary's feeling like I'd just been crowned king of Scottsdale. If I lived in the area, I'd probably be there every week, sitting on my throne (aka the barber chair) and enjoying another round of royal treatment from Roman. Oh, and a pro tip: bring cash to keep it old school, but they'll accept your credit cards too, in case you're not carrying the king's ransom in your wallet.

No appointments needed, just walk in and prepare to be treated like royalty! Gary's Barbershop is where you go not just for a haircut, but for an experience you won't forget. Long live King Roman, the barber!

Perfect fade cut, first time here and will not be my last. I forgot what an utterly wonderful difference it was to go to an OG barber shoppe over one of those clippers placed, thx Don!!

Grouchy old men. Wouldn't even have minded the terrible attitude if the cut was good, but it wasn't. And forgot trying to ask for what you want done to your hair. They "know what they are doing"

Hair, cut . and mind BLOWN!! HUGE SHOUTOUT TO MARWAN!!! GREAT JOB! I had no idea places like this existed. I have always gone to the regular chain haircut places and just excepted a mediocre cut. Sometime I would get a great haircut but nothing compares to the experience I received at Gary's Barbershop!! WOW. I waked in and was already impressed. I was greeted immediately. The place has an old school vibe and very clean. I was in a chair within the same minute I entered. GREAT!
The haircut isn't just a haircut like most places, it was an experience. Of course there is the cut, but then there is the warm shaving cream to clean the neckline, then a hot face towel and clean up. And it ended with this giant massage machine for the neck and shoulders. I left feeling great and very satisfied with the experience. I will be going here every time I need a haircut.

Was a customer for over 4 years! Barber Marvin was the best barber I ever had. He has since left, for reasons unknown. (was told he was too slow?) He
always had people waiting for him, because of his cuts!!! I have had haircuts from Marvin's replacement and Garys son, both of which were subpar.
Unfortunately I will no longer be a customer of this establishment.

First time to visit this establishment because we are new to the area and I was 110% satisfied with the services that I received. Friendly and very collaborative when deciding on the hair style that they are going to provide.

Not bad, decent cuts most of the time!
Walk ins are accepted and the wait isn't terrible when there is 4-5 people in front of you with a 3 man staff!
I would recommend them as they do decent cuts, they are respectable barbers, the place is clean most of the time for a barber shop, it's in a decent area, the prices at most all barber shops are getting a bit out of control I must say but I guess that's the cost of not being able to do things yourself as good as they do eh!

I walked in with my son and he was able to get a chair right away. The barber was kind and understood exactly what my son was hoping to achieve. Great cut and a massage! My son's favorite part was the massage and the lollipop. $18 for a kids cut. Wonderful deal. Highly recommend!

Got my first haircut by Marvin on Saturday, 7/10. He did a really great job and gave me some good hair care advice. Going forward, I will be a regular.
