The Good: Amazing location. Cute interior. Really nice vibe in general--particularly out of season. Mix of locals and tourists.
The Great and Excellent: Bobby D. (regular and makes the whole experience a 5+). EXCELLENT fish--tacos and sandwich are both stellar although I would offer a few more topping on the tacos (no cheese though--it's fish, as the Italians and actual Mexicans will tell you). Wouldn't even bother eating anything else. One of the best fried fish sandwiches I have ever had. In fact, one of the best meals--period.
The Not-So-Good: Inattentive, attitude-driven servers at the bar, like right out of the opening of CLUELESS (not Cher--we love her) but it's definitely High School all over again. And NOT all of them. But most. What they desperately need more than a cute face or a cool looking dude is an old school, dedicated bartender who knows the customer, sees people waiting and can move on them--takes care of business in general. Trust me owner--hire someone with some grey in their hair and you will increase rating and CASH, fast.
Oh and that silly tip screen is enough to convince me to bring my own CASH and tip something under the suggested 18-25% that they think they deserve. Terrible system and totally obnoxious as they stand over you while you try and figure out how to give them a normal tip.
Ironically, their chef who popped out of the kitchen for two minutes had more charisma and attention to detail than anyone in the core hospitality area. I immediately liked him and could tell he knows his business.
This is a 5-star spot waiting to happen.
Lastly, prices are too high, even at happy hour. A few apps and 2 glasses of wine can run 60 bucks easy. And that's why this place is not packed. Otherwise, it's a line to sit down.
Easy to fix with a little tweaking. I will be back either way, with my lovely wife and 7 kids. :)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

We apologize for any inconvenience with the service at the bar and the tipping process and we value your suggestions. It's wonderful to hear your compliments about our chef. Farm to table found in Delray! I don't know what these other complainers are talking about but we had a FABULOUS dinner experience.
Our server Madison was extremely warm & attentive and welcomed us into our first Farmhouse Kitchen experience with smiles and delicious drinks!
We started with the pizza with chicken, apples and dates. Truly divine, the crust thin and crispy and the flavors all melded together beautifully!
We then moved on to the chicken and dumplings in a delicious brown gravy- not your traditional southern white and it was a welcomed change. My husband had the shrimp tacos and said they were the best he's ever had- he is a shrimp taco conossieur!
We finished with the apple cider donuts, which I will be dreamy about for days. Light fluffy, cinnamon and sugar- sweet and delicious!
Do yourself a favor and book a reservation (place is small) and enjoy a night off Atlantic Ave.!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

Had dinner here. Perfectly fine. Nothing wrong with anything. Just nothing particularly good. We had a kale salad with salmon, they forgot to bring the Avacado on the side, we had crispy fish tacos. We had a chicken club. All perfectly adequate. I wouldn't really rush to come back.

I was here for brunch this morning. I used to love the restaurant and have been coming here for years. However, I have never been here for brunch. It was a little underwhelming; the Morning Flatbread sounded so good but the ratio of cheese was so unbalanced with the other ingredients. I believe they use only one egg that they scramble and toss around, with probably a few slivers of avocado that they mash up. They top it with a handful of potatoes (really just a few pieces at most). The majority of this dish is cheese and bread, which is very nutritionally underwhelming, especially considering the price. I didn't eat the entire dish, and I wasn't particularly full when I scraped off the excess cheese and only picked the eggs and potatoes. I'm sorry to say but it really was a boring dish. The menu has been more or less the same over the years, so it's become unexciting. I think it could benefit by either rotating some dishes seasonally or introducing more new options. The only item I really enjoy are the buffalo cauliflower wings (that yogurt sauce!) and even then I wouldn't come back often for just an appetizer. The service today was okay, our server came by occasionally. The ambiance was nice, it was very calm with music that wasn't too loud. All in all, I'm sad to say it's starting to feel like too much of the same thing and it doesn't excite me to come back now that I'm used to Farmhouse Kitchen.

Food was delicious and fresh. Not a big restaurant so if they are busy they maybe packed. Servers are attentive and there was not a long wait. It is on the ave so busy, but still casual and great for a lunch meeting. A bit pricey which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5

We took our son to Farmhouse Kitchen for dinner. The vibe was cool and upbeat. Cocktails were interesting takes on classics with a focus on vodka drinks and mules.
The zucchini chips were an awesome appetizer and likely the highlight of the dinner. They were accompanied with an interesting white sauce that was tart and savory to my tastebuds. Delish.
I had the blackened mahi sandwich and it was really good but not what I was expecting for the price. I guess Atlantic Avenue rent is high. My wife and son both had the seeded chicken. It looked quite nice and the liked it a lot. They both asked for the zucchini chip sauce to go with the chicken.
Dinner and drinks were nice and it was a good time. The place has both indoor and outdoor seating with a bar. Indoor is pretty small and a bit noisy due to the small space and the open kitchen.
All said, good time and nice meal. Would I do it again? Maybe. It seemed a wee bit pricey all things considered.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 66764Jul 30, 2023
Wow!
So I love this place!
This is my ME TIME go to spot!
The food is excellent as a local Delradian! I go go early or late to miss the tourist or the snow birds!
The food is the best right now it's Sunday at 10:30 am, I just left the beach and came here for brunch!
Never disappointed!
Only problem is that they used to do grilled oysters bring that back!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Tiffany W.Manhattan, NY015Apr 12, 2024
Two people in our party got severe food poisoning - one of us from the nutty chicken and the other from the burger. Only go here if you want to spend your night hugging the bin...
