I've been to Garni on BBC a few occasions and their quality of meat is excellent! The owner is incredibly kind. He even offered to season my dad's meat fir free when my dad asked what his seasoning/cooking recommendations were fir lamb chops. Honestly you get what you pay for wherever you go. That being said Garni is not cheap but the quality is what you are getting. The shop does not smell of meat and is kept very clean. I especially like the chicken wings with oita bread and onion ... chef's kiss!

What a great place with a fabulous owner. Real Butchers are a specific breed when you find one you like you tend to have them for life. Locals swear by this place and it's what makes Altadena so special. The accolades and the years of consistency speak for themselves.

The marinated meats are stupendous. The owner is kind and helpful. There is a great roast chicken dinner if you call ahead to order. The salads are magnificent.

We come to this place to pickup fresh raw meat to cook for our family gatherings. This time we called to put in the order for my dad's birthday and to our surprise they had cooked the meat!...? Huh? We always order in advance to make sure it's not sold out and get it raw so we can cook it at home, this time they had the audacity to call us all liars and say we asked for it cooked!!! He even said he asked twice!!!!! Not true! Maybe he confused us with another guest since it was lunchtime but my mom and dad are NOT liars. We would drive 20 minutes to get there and I'm happy to report that we will NEVER come back to this place. Much better options in glendale anyway!

When it comes to meat I'm extra picky. Alek and Harry from Garni Market are culinary experts when it comes to providing best seasoned meat and spices with various ingredients. Parking is great. Always had a great service at this market.

Lots of variety of marinated, fresh, and quality meats from American style to Armenian style. Store is clean and has variety of dried and canned Armenian/Middle Eastern goods. The owner is really down to earth and kind. My mom and I are excited to become regulars at this place!

Excellent local market for your deli/butcher needs. The owner is very friendly and helpful. I purchased the pork belly and pork chop barbecue meat, and my guests were very pleased with the flavor and quality! It was delicious!

They also carry some Middle Eastern items like spices, bread, other foods, dry items, etc.

I look forward to trying more of their options in the near future.

The lamb chops, filet kebab and chicken thighs are my personal favorites but everything is a hit. The goods don't stop with the meat though. They make a variety of side dishes, by hand, from scratch and they're all delicious.

The store is always impeccably clean, the staff is always friendly and helpful and the prices are fair.

Owners are Great and their products are top notch. I drove from Whittier to purchase meat, grape leaves, cheese, and even bought mesquite charcoal. I forgot how gracious the Owners are, since I have not been here since closing my shop in Pasadena. Garni meat market is now back on my list to pick up top quality products.
