Garage Door Cowboys

I used Garage Door Cowboy in 2015 to diagnose and repair a pesky problem when we lived in Taylor, Tx. As a result I gave them 5 Stars at the time.
Fast forward to June 2023 and I gave them a call to diagnose and repair my pesky builder grade garage door. After a significant replacement and cost, my garage door was quiet and operating smoothly.
In October, I noticed a loud nose when the garage door was nearly closed and it appeared to be coming from the new spring. I repeatedly left calls to the office and texts to Eric the technician that performed the service in June. I have had one call that was answered and all I was told was everything is under warranty for 6 years. I again called the office and asked for the owner to call me. That has yielded no calls to me. Hence my review - pass on this garage door service.

Scheduled what I thought was an appointment and I had told them I had to drive almost hour to get to where repair was. Ten minutes out they called me and said the only one tech they had was hung up someplace else and it would be another hour and half. Could not wait that long as I had already told them on the phone. Would not recommend them and did not use them.

I hed a problem with my door and the technition showd up within an hour and fix it quickly. He was very nice and professional.i will definitely call in the future for service..thanks Cowboys! !

Mike and team were very punctual and professional. I got a great deal, quality installation and quality products. I damaged 1 of 2 garage doors and called Garage Door Cowboys to help. We ended up having to replace both doors to ensure we they would match and I upgraded one of our motors. The team was very responsive and both technicians we worked with were very professional and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate using Garage Door Cowboys again in the future.

Follow up on previous review : Mike the owner called me to apologize for the poor service. He offered to send a gift card to me. I appreciate his effort to correct the mistake of his technician. As a business owner I too am critically aware that 1 bad apple can have a devastating effect on your income. Before I use them again I will call Mike to be sure he is not sending the same technician.

Quick return of inquiry and extremely flexible with regards to setting up my appointment for install. Casey was our installer and he was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He did a great job and I would definitely refer them in the future.

Mike the owner of Cowboys called after my last post. He called and to found out the issue about my last service. I felt he really try to work it right and try to fix the problem. And he promised me that he will take care everything, Mike even said that he will return the service fee from last time. I haven't received the check yet.

These guys were great. Super professional and prompt. I live out of town and they helped me to purchase and install a door in Texas. I really appreciated how available they were and kind during a slightly stressful situation. They installed the door when it was convenient for my tenant, within a week. Thank you Michael!

Would not recommend this company. They do not honor requests for service. They said they would send someone out, nobody ever called or showed up. Left two senior citizens with an unsecure home well into the night due to the inability to lower the garage door. Did not even bother to call the next day to see if service was still needed. Guess they have plenty of business and don't need business from a couple of seniors.
