Gander's Family Restaurant

This place was mentioned multiple times to my fiancé when we ask about local diners.
We tried it out this morning and we were wowed by the food and the diner feel this place had.
The menu was great and they also had a great list of daily specials for all meals.
I ordered the mini breakfast which consisted of two eggs, one meat, hash browns and toast for $7.50! It was a great deal and the meal was very filling.
Great breakfast spot and we will be back for sure!

Come here often when I'm in the area. Food is decent and at a fair price. Always receive good service.

We love stopping in here after a visit to Michigan or Canada. Friendly and just outright amazing home cooked meals

In town for work and came in for lunch. The food is great. Hot,tasty and fresh. And the service was outstanding. So friendly and nice. I love this place. Wish I lived closer.

Thought about stopping at Tim Horton's on my way down to Toledo but then decided a full breakfast would be more enjoyable, and Gander's did beat a donut by a mile or two.

I ordered the #2 breakfast, eggs with pancakes, and got the optional sausage links. The eggs in particular were excellent, cooked to a perfect over-easy. Sausage was good, not greasy or bland. Pancakes were a little doughy, which seems to be the case at a lot of diners. But overall a fine breakfast, with fast service, in a very clean and comfortable setting.

First time here! Western Omelet delicious, Rye Bread. Great coffee. Many specials. Cool old school vibe and they invite truckers!
What's not like and even love!

I work in the small town and this place is great. Order is ready quickly, food is delicious and the people are very very nice. Great place.

As restaurants close down for the season, this establishment was open. I had a hearty Reuben sandwich and wife had a veal parmigiana entree. Both were freshly made and delicious.

First thing you have to realize is that this is a diner not a fancy steakhouse. Given that it one of the better diners I have eaten at. The staff are very friendly, the place is clean and the food is really good for the type of food it is and the prices are reasonable. What more can you ask for. Oh, maybe that they make a lot of their stuff on premises! And it tastes like it.
