Always friendly and observant staff and servers, actually treat you like family after a few visits and they get to know you.

Gabe's menu is comprehensive and very much above other Diner restaurants in the area. The food is much better in that the taste is really that of "home cooking" as opposed to restaurant food.

Also the menu has many items (if you like them) such as Bologna and eggs or sandwiches (I've not seen that elsewhere,) Liver and Onions, Cuban Sandwich, Potato Pancakes, Friday Night all-you can eat Fish Fry, (including Shrimp and a good variety of fish, not just Cod or Lake Trout, ) etc., just to name a very few, and special Sunday Menu Specials to go. The amounts of food, compared to others, and the prices are amazing.

Always feeling satisfied when leaving, based on excellent, fresh food quality - and price.

(And don't forget the fresh - Baked Cupcakes - eat in, or to go. Oh, yes, Best Catfish around too.)

They're not a steak house, and it shows, but everything else there is amazing. It's the only restaurant I know that has a Reuben Omelette, and that alone is worth checking it out for. Friendly staff, hard workers. I've never had an issue.

Average cafe nothing special! The workers kept looking at me since i walked in and talking about me with their fellow co workers and then came up to me while i was eating to ask me if i was someone, or knew someone but they were just laughing when i said no and it was just a uncomfortable lunch and i didnt feel welcomed at all, made me forget how the food even was. I guess you have to be a local to get special treatment

Their muffins are wonderful. The cranberry orange muffin is sensational. The taste of orange will amaze you. You even smell the orange when you remove the plastic wrap. Unique bakery delight.

Crepes Lorraine is the best! So fun to watch the trains pass as you eat. Service is always exceptional.

Food was excellent - I highly recommend the fresh fruit crepes. My hubby had a great skillet. Services's was the best- quick, accurate, pleasant. We had t been here since the expansion. Price was very competitive with surrounding competitors.

Most days of the week this is a great breakfast and lunch spot...skillets, pancakes, omelets, salads, soups, sandwiches, etc. Don't skip their baked goods - the muffins are awesome. Affordable food. Homey feel. Exceptionally friendly staff.

But on Friday nights...it's all you can eat fish fry time. Biscuits, cold salads, soup, choice of fish or shrimp or chicken, potato of choice, and dessert. Yes it can get quite crowded on a Friday night. It's quite the place to be. Not health food, but everyone needs to splurge sometime.

I just love. Gabe's place, their food is fresh and delicious . I loved everything on the menu.
The ambiance is very laid back and the waitress are super friendly and helpful.

This is a very nice breakfast place out in Glenwood right by the railroad tracks. They also serve lunches, but we always seem drawn here for breakfast. They offer all the usuals and do them very well, and service is top drawer. This is an old-fashioned kind of place that we are glad still exists. Good food in a good atmosphere with excellent service. On Friday nights they also have a fish fry, and we'll have to stop in some time to try it. Give this place a try.

On the outside looking in, Dine-in service seems to be smooth. I've only ordered take-out.

Always a friendly greeting over the phone and in person. Breakfast is always on point. looking forward to expanding my horizons with their lunch/dinner menu.

Clean and organized establishment. Most places when you drive by and see that the parking lot is full, you'll think "good food"? Not true all of the time, but this place, when you see that the lot is full, it's definitely because they serve good food.
