Pizza Ranch

The pizzas are all good. Some creative. Mostly fresh within, say, 20 minutes. The salad bar has good variety. The 'dessert pizzas' are not particularly creative and mildly unsatisfying.

A lot of folks pass by the pizzas and fo for the hot good buffet. It features fried chicked and the expected sides of mashed potatoes and steamed veggies. I've heard from more than one source that their fried chicken is the best in town.

Decor is spartan with kinda hokey 'western' theme wall decorations. Clean and well staffed. Tgey give dicounts to veterans (with proof), seniors, and, i believe, first responders.

As far as buffets go, Pizza Ranch is adequate. It's not a large buffet nor would it appeal to more adventurous eaters but I will say that the food and service were decent and most likely the kind of place you would want to take your young children for pizza, pasta and video games. Not to mention the tables and buffet were clean and tidy and well stocked.

Food was good. Only issue is the environment. The place was very filthy, like the floor was really greasy i almost slipped, and there was just food on the ground that employees would walk right over. And the only time really they would bring out servings of if somebody asks.

The last time we went this place was disgustingly dirty. Like the worst filth I'd ever seen in a restaurant. If we had seen the mess before we paid, we would not have eaten here. Workers were kind of trying to clean, but didn't seem to have any serious concerns. The vacuum didn't seem to be working. But the pizza crusts, whole pickles, napkins, etc. couldn't be picked up with a vacuum anyway. It was hard to find a semi clean place to even sit to eat. It was so bad that it was hard to imagine that that mess had been made in one day. My husband is not a neat freak by any means and he says he was so grossed out by the mess and squished food in the carpet that he doesn't want to go back.

Allergy Alert: Pizza Ranch in Pueblo has tree nuts in a salad option in their salad bar.

When I contacted the local store by phone (because there is no email option for any level of contact with this chain restaurant) I was told by an irritated sounding young man that the corporation is not going to take that salad off the menu because one person in Pueblo complained. He thought it was enough to have an allergy warning on the salad bar. (I have never seen a salad bar where the contents of one bin haven't been spilled off into another bin, which means that the entire salad bar is now off limits for me.) When I see a restaurant that doesn't take deadly allergens seriously, I also assume that they are not too worried about cross-contamination in the kitchen.

Approximately 3.9 million people in the US are allergic to tree nuts. It is not an allergy that causes a little tummy ache or sneezing. Tree nut allergies are deadly.

I hate to do this, but when it takes over an hour from the promised time of the food delivery to get to the house, it is unacceptable. Actually, it is one hour and 15 minutes after the promised time.
I had to call and ask where my food is, got told it was enroute, while in fact it has not been picked up at all. Didn't want to cancel as I would get the food for free according to the worker that answered the phone.
Not a good way to do business. If I wanted it 90 minutes later than promised I would have not ordered the food but made it myself. Thanks for the crappy delivery.
Disappointing and sad.

I generally like this place, but there are some downs about it. For example, the pizza is kinda stale, and the only time they restock is when you ask. But, the chicken is really good, I really recommend it. The costumer service isn't bad at all. All you have to do, is just tell them how much people are eating, then they will seat you where ever you want and get as much food as possible. So yea this place is pretty good for family dinner.

I loved this place! It was clean, the food was good and the service was great. Fun for the kids, too. Collin was one of their Busser's who was always checking in to take away empty plates! He never stopped working! Loved the chicken!

In the one time I hand visited this place, the pizza was okay but not great. The restaurant was clean and other than the other guests that had kids and allowed them to run around and go up to the salad bar and pizza bar by them Themselves touching everything. making anything from the bar disgusting. The place was relaxing and enjoyable to eat in. I am going to go back at some point and try it again only because the manager was helpful and apologized for overcharging us on accident.

Actually pretty decent pizza!! We got the buffet and there were so many pizza options to choose from. Their cheesy bread sticks were delicious! The veggie pizza was probably my favorite. Definitely better than when we had ordered take out before. Good place to come and eat as much as you want.
