This place was not what we expected. My wife said that Furr's was good (at least when it was in Austin) but I was not impressed. We came here on when I was on leave and we went to the coast. It wasn't busy, and they did not have a big selection of things I wanted. The place also smelled like cigarette smoke.
Our waiter was nice and helpful but was running around and didn't take the dirty plates off the table until we left.
When we left my wife showed the cashier her dependent ID card for the military discount and we were told that she wasn't able to take it off at her station, that the lady at the register at the end of the food line was suppoesd to. Well, we were never told that so my wife spent like 10 minutes waiting on the lady to get back to her station, and then on the manager to come and do whatever they needed to do. the manager actually took off an extra percentage because my wife was put out with them.

Won't go back here.
