Friends Dawson Grill

New to the area and felt at home here right away. Fast service, friendly staff and good bar/comfort food. We've had their Philly cheese steak and the wings both were excellent. Bad da boom shrimp were very tasty. The trash can nachos are just the sort of food you want but know isn't good for you.

This is a great place to come as you are, come in and have a cozy unfussy meal. We're there frequently.

We had excellent service at this local watering hole. We sat at the bar where everyone was very friendly, both the locals and the bartender who I think is also the General Manager! The bar has a bar bites menu that is a great deal!

Sitting at the bar, they have 3 TVs of sports playing. They have several draft beers - about 1/3 of them are craft drafts, Scofflaw, Allagash, etc.

We ordered 4 orders of the bar bites wings and fries! Their fries are heavily breaded and tasty. They have great ranch dressing. I highly recommend. We ordered their traditional wings with sweet heat sauce, traditional wings with ray ray sauce (a garlic and blue cheese chunky mixture), and smoked wings with signature house sauce. We liked them in that order. We got 2 plates of the sweet heat. We ate every bit. The wings run on the smaller side so order more than you think. They have a great flavor and we're too dry or anything. We don't mind smaller wings.

We will definitely be back when we're in the area. We don't have kids but it's notable they have a little arcade room and lots of booths, so I think it's very family friendly!

Sharon, the Gm does a good job; but that's the only redeeming quality of this place. Clearly Bar first, restaurant (maybe?) second. The regulars are there everyday, mostly just gross old dudes there to hit on young girls, some underage. Not that they or the owners care.

Come here if you like to dip, smoke, and drink overpriced beer with some questionable company.

This place is great! Everytime.. great service and super friendly. I love that kids eat free on Sundays and their wings are good! The manager went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied which we appreciated.

Great place to find after a long drive. Our server, Jeffrey, was brand new to the restaurant. He found answers to all of our questions. Steak salad and Cajun chicken pasta were both very tasty! The salt and vinegar chips were awesome! We were very happy to see a full service bar as well!

Peach Vidalia Wings

1. They have great ranch. Some places have eh ranch, or ok ranch. Their ranch is really really good. Decent amount of dill, good consistency, overall great ranch.

2. The Peach Vidalia flavor for the wings is aaaah-mazing. A tiny bit spicy, sweet and savory. I could eat them once a week.

3. Pimento and cheese wontons. I can't eat them because of food intolerances, but other members of my family order them every single time because they are so good.

The food is well priced. The bartenders are super nice, and they appear to have a decent amount of regulars. The restaurant is casual enough to go grab a drink and watch a game, bring your kids with you after church, or take a group out for wings. The only thing I would change is more meatier wings. The ones we had this past time were pretty small, but still, so so good.

Come for the wings. Expect excellent service. Jazz offered a friendly smile and very good customer service. The price was good and the atmosphere was chill. Strongly recommend.

We enjoyed Friends. Fresh draft beer and good bar food. Our server was very helpful with recommendations and service. There were family groups as well as groups of friends who all seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Service was FANTASTIC! Jazz was our server and she took excellent care of us. Food was all good. We had wings, salad, pasta salad, and onion rings. We wanted to try because Friends is opening up in Clayton soon - hope to see maybe a few vegetarian options (black bean burger etc). Als the crowd in Clayton likes their wine - consider adding a nice rose, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay to the menu. Thanks!
