Friends & Company

The first time we stopped here, we were told the kitchen was closed so a few days later, we found ourselves on Columbia and thought we'd give it another shot. My husband and I got the club sandwich. It was plenty large enough to split. We also got onion rings. The sandwich was very good.

I wanted fried food after a long day at work, so the old lady and I tried this spot just down the street. Setting was pretty basic, but didn't feel trashy or run down or anything. Place was half full and everyone seemed happy. Service was attentive and pleasant, and menu looked decent. Ordered a few fried items (they were out of like three, though) and a couple drinks. Watched sports on TV and satisfied my grease craving and went home. Pleasant experience. Glad to know this place is here for the next time I want comfort food close to home.

Cheap drinks and talls shots is what really got me. They have $0.50 wings on wednesday which I have not seen in ladt 7 to 8 years. This is a great bar that you could go with a bunch of friends and have fun without hurting your pocket. Their wing sauces are pretty good. They have all you can eat fish and shrimp on fridays. Happy hour and specials all week. Definitely a place I would visit again

Went for lunch. Service was friendly and timely.
We had the flat bread, wraps, and burger.
Good food. We left happy and full.

The second suggestion from some locals in Battle Creek, MI was Friends & Co. Absolutely great Bar Food, Salads, and the Adult Beverages will make you call for a cab (never saw Uber or Lyft). The wings were $0.45 that day and you had a variety of sauces to choose from, we had: Creamy Parmesan, Thai, Caribbean Thunder, and good ole Hot. That little cheeseburger was delicious! There was a variety of items on the menu, but if I am there again I am going with the special of the day (and one of those drinks!) #stlmetrofoodie

Not friendly is what they should call it at whomever was at the bar tonight on 1-14-22 was the rudest woman I've ever had at friends ever all I was there for is to pick up my order not one person Acknowledged me when I sat at the bar I noticed multiple people sitting at the bar had no drink service was lacking to say the least not the usual service I get when I'm there!

I am very disappointed! I am currently at friends and I have been sitting here 10 minutes and no one asked me if i needed to helped, there usually on it but i guess in the day time not so much. Or could it be that i am the only black face at this bar right now! I am appalled because this is my favorite spot. Smmfh not even asked if i would a drink while I wait... I wont ever come here un the day time! I cant believe the lack of customer service! Smdh do better in the morning smh

I always turned down invites from my parents to eat here with them and I deeply regret it! I have become a fan of this restaurant! The waitress and bartender were super nice and fun to talk to. The drinks were great, I got a rum and pineapple. The food was even better! The restaurant was clean and had a welcoming g atmosphere. I dont live close by but when I come back to battle creek I will definitely pick this place to go for dinner.

This is my second review of Friends and Company. This is a great local bar with good prices. The staff is friendly and service is very quick. They have a good food menu with cheap chicken wings on Wednesday nights. They have a full bar menu, with a small selection of domestic draft beers. Friends used to be very smokey, but now that the ban on smoking has come to Michigan, it should be much more enjoyable.

My favorite foods at Friends are the wings, club sandwich on whole wheat, and the pizza. All good bar food and plenty of TV's for sporting events. I am a fan!

I waited till my second visit before writing a review and now that I've been here twice, there will not be a third. Same experience twice. Maybe I'm simple minded in that when you go to a bar and sit at the bar, you should be asked by the bartender what you would like to drink and not wait for five minutes till you have to ask her for a drink. Not to mention being greeted with a muttered response or waiting another 5 minutes as the bartender talks to a friend. Needless to say I walked out before she ever got to my beer.
