Friendly's

Haven't been to a Friendlys in years. When my kids were young I was there about 1x a week & always enjoyed it. It was lunchtime... I was working in the area & figured I'd give it a go. I had the lobster roll with fries. The fries were large, fresh , perfectly fried & not greasy at all. The lobster roll was large filled with big chunks of fresh lobster , not too much mayo, celery and just delicious .
I was pleasantly surprised. In the past I don't remember Friendly's food as being clean & fresh but that's how I would describe today's meal. I'll definitely be back!!

I hate this place. It's disgusting and the food isn't good. That's generally enough to support a poor rating. Unfortunately my kids love it. Dumb kids...what do they know? I got the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich and my kids basically got appetizers and mac and cheese. Blech. None of it was good. The flies in our area didn't make it more pleasurable, nor did the annoyingly loud family nearby. The ice cream is ok. Whatever. We didn't come here for me, however I'm the one writing the review. If my kids were writing it, they'd give it five stars. Losers.

Update: My family, all of whom loves Friendly's, told me to get rid of the extra star that I had there only because they liked this s-hole. Waitress was rude, food sucked and took forever, blah blah blah. I wasn't listening but I hate Friendly's generally and this location is much worse than the other ones. It's dirty, the service is bad and the food is gross.

Don't come here ever.

After a bad experience several years ago, we decide to give this local business another shot during this tough time. We were wrong. We ordered via doordash. They forgot put apple juice in the kids order, and a few shrimps and fries cost $17 dollars. How can a business survive by being this bad constantly..

Its Friendlys for kids, don't come expecting a quiet, romantic Superb dinner. Come here after a game, post snow storm, or to grab a quick CHEAP meal. nice staff and good food
Nightwaiters are friendlier than a.m. staff.

Ice cream is cold, sweet, loaded with good fat and calories... just the way i love it.
Coffee hot and milk good.
They change ice cream specials for little ones each season. Bunny is too cute for spring

I will convince as many people as possible to avoid this horrible place. Having been to Friendlys in so many other places, I don't understand how this one could be so horrible.
With a name like this, you'd expect staff that's actually friendly. The service was pretty horrible. We came in and the place was maybe half full, if that. Still, no one at the host station, so we waited for a bit. We figured it'd be a great place for dessert, right? When my wife finally asked someone if we should just seat ourselves, the waitress snapped at her to, "just wait, I gotta fix some tables." So we wait. Then we're finally seated by someone. We order two large sundaes, and we're kind of excited. My wife also orders a coffee.
When the ice cream finally comes, we're told that all of the other ice cream glasses were dirty, which is why we got the to-go cups. See my photo. That wouldn't have seemed so odd if I didnt watch people about 2 minutes after us get 4 ice cream sundaes in glass. The sundaes weren't even well made. I got the Reese's pieces sundae because I love peanutbutter. Been getting it for years. It's supposed to have a lot of peanutbutter sauce. There was a drop on the bottom of the cup. Supposed to have hot fudge. There was some smeared on part of the cup wall. My wife was "hunting for the hot fudge" in her cup, and barely found any.
They didn't bother to give us napkins. I went into the bathroom to clean my face. Figured I could go to the bathroom while I was there. Two toilets clogged, one urinal clogged, and looked like they had been for a while. Apparently no one cares if the restrooms are clean.
Oh, and the coffee never came. Couldn't wait to be done and get a check. Awful service. Awful food. Completely awful. Won't go back.

Was not to impressed. Water along with restaurant condition were awful. Loved my create your own Sundae with the brownie batter. On waiter was a complete jerk he told me to wait a minute to grab a menu in front of him. Then later he didn't pick up his head when i asked where to pay and he pointed me in a different direction while he was doing someone else's check. Anyway he should be fired because clearly he's not very friendly.

I got the honey chicken melt it was pretty good .. I didn't really expect much from this place .. the place was pretty clean . Food came out nice n fresh n fast so I'm happy

At first I gave them a 4 star cause I didn't have any complaint .. boy oh boy I took my 4 star back that food made me sick .. I had diarrhea n I was throwing up so no thanks never going back . N my friend kids which were 2 and 1 I had to take them to the hospital cause they were just shitting on them self like crazy n throwing up as well ..

With most of the Friendly's in the area closed, I was excited to find this one still open. I took my twin 4 1/2 year olds for a treat. We were greeted very nicely by the manager and shown to our table. Our waitress arrived very quickly and was very sweet. I ordered a burger and the kids got macaroni and cheese with French fries. I'm a dad so nutrition isn't #1. ;)

They enjoyed their meals and were mostly excited for their desserts. Everything was good, the ice cream was as delicious as I remembered. Service was excellent and I know that is something that is often lacking. We will return! My kids demand it.

My kids enjoy going so much.

Service the past few times has been horrible. After being seated, it takes awhile for a server to come. After placing our order, it takes a while for the server to come back with drinks. Getting food is another long wait.

Last time I was there, I had to put on my coat and walk around for the server to come back to our table. She was sitting down at other table having a conservation.

Food is decent. My kids usually go with sliders. I will either have fish and chips or reubenmelt.

My sister and I took my 2 year old son to this friendlys last weekend. Service was really bad and slow, tables were left dirty from the time we got there till the time we left. The worst part was they placed us at a table with little screws sticking out of the wall (pic posted), we told the server and he didn't seem concerned which tells me this is has been like this for a while...meanwhile there is a Home Depot directly across the street so this could easily be fixed.
