Fresh Window Tint

They really tried to charge me $1200 for some basic tint not even ceramic.. I wasn't sure wether to laugh at such a ridiculous estimate or actually take them serious lol unless you're someone with deep pockets I wouldnt recommend

Approximately five years ago, I visited their Encino location (now closed permanently) for a headlight restoration on my Mercedes-Benz. After 20 minutes or so, they barely cleared anything from the headlights. When I questioned the lack of results, I was told that that was the best they could do because the headlights were faded from inside too (they weren't -- it was just a convenient excuse for them). They insisted I pay the full $40 price despite the poor job, and I was really tuned off by the whole experience. I forgot to leave a review reflecting my negative experience with Fresh Window Tint all those years ago, but I'm happy that I remembered now because these guys don't deserve your business. Please, go elsewhere for your car modification needs.

Bought a Groupon based on Yelp reviews. I bought the 5 window deal thinking that it was the five windows of the car.. BUT IT'S NOT! BEWARE, It's actually only for the back windows and two of the windows are the LITTLE TRIANGLES behind the back windows... It does not include the front.. I thought this was kinda scammy.... I already paid 125 they wanted me to pay extra for the front... even though the deal was titled "5 windows"... Don't appreciate businesses that are sketchy...

Decided to go through with it anyway and tried to make an appointment. They do NOT take appointments, first come first serve, called to see if they could take me, they said no and to try another day. Ended up cancelling my groupon. Went to 310 Tinting instead. They gave me a better deal and took me in that same afternoon.

Overall very nice and quick experience. I would definitely come back & recommend it to family and friends.

I initially found this place on Groupon, gave them a call and they gave me a better deal using if I came in cash.
Coming from a family of small business owners, I know how much Groupon taxes small businesses on their vouchers and I preferred to deal with the business directly.


Call before you come in, they'll let you know what the wait time is, if there is one.
I decided to come in on a Monday afternoon hoping there wouldn't be a wait, I was right. I still called anyways.

These guys waste no time, as soon as I walked in, I was greeted, they backed my car in, briefed me the various types of tints they offer and while this was all going on, they already started doing work on my car. I was completed impressed, they wasted no time at all!


I was walked through the entire process, felt very comfortable, even though I've tinted my previous cars before.


What really impressed me was their waiting room. Most "budget tint shops" might have a dirty couch from craigslist or no waiting room at all, at Fresh Window Tinting they make sure you are comfortable.
Their waiting room consist of a a few comfortable chairs as well as a leather recliner with a TV with ESPN or your choice of channels as well great air conditioning. I was happy and it made the time fly while watching the Eurocup 2012


The job was done in about an hour and half, very fast. Great, no bubbles or smudging.

Most "budget tint shops" leave water marks all over your panels as window tinting can be a very messy process. These guys cleaned up after themselves and I was quite impressed with the condition of my car afterwards.
You may not think that isn't a big deal, but the last time I took my mom's Lexus ES to California Tint in Rosemead they successfully left water stains on all four panels. Yack.


Overall this is a pretty lengthy review, but I must say I am impressed with the craftsmanship and customer service I was offered. I looked around for on yelp and google for two weeks before choosing a tint shop, for those of you who are like me hopefully this review will end your search.

I found this place via Yelp (how else would I find it?), and I saw the reviews and was glad to see such positive ratings. I went in here to my front two car windows tinted 20% because my back windows and passengers door were already done previously.

I actually called on the morning of to see if I could my windows done, and Jesse was so nice to squeeze me in between appointments. The price was great, and I paid $30 per window, so total $60. I've gone to other places, and they've charged even double or triple for the same exact job. The guy did a great job, and I was able to watch him do the whole process from the cutting to the finishing. I've only had them on for about a week, but they make my car look so sleek.

As a side note, you should know that it's better to pay in cash. If they have to run your credit card, they have to apply a fee and tax. Good thing I had cash on me. The only reason why I give this place 4/5 stars is because I had to pretty much stand the whole time while the guy was doing my windows. It wasn't until the last 7 minutes was I told there was a waiting room upstairs.

If you go anywhere else to tint your car, you're wasting your money! Best place to get your windows done bar none. Premium job for an economic price.

I bought a Groupon and drove 50 miles. This was TOTALLY worth it. I too bought the 5 window deal, but I knew the little windows are considered 1 window, as I had shopped around for deals on tinting.

They don't take appointments, but when the owner saw I was calling from "the 909" they gladly made an appointment for me. There was a a nice waiting room upstairs where I waited comfortably.

The told me it would be a couple of hours, and it was less! The windows looked great, the car looked great and I could not be more pleased with the customer service!

I recently decided to give my old Jeep a refresh instead of trading her in. So, after getting myself some nice new tires (also on a Yelp! Recommendation), I started looking for tinting places. No sooner had I started than I got a groupon email! Wow. So, I figured it was a "sign"...kidding.

Anyway, I'd never had tinting done and was confused about the number of windows I ACTUALLY had as there are the two little panels on the back doors. I phoned José in Santa Clarita location. I asked him about the price and what that would include for me. He offered to do the whole vehicle for said price and I decided yes. He asked if I wanted to come now and I said SURE! But, after hearing how far away I was, he suggested the Reseda store where his son was working. He phone Jesse and set the whole thing up for me at the agreed price (which by the way was great.)

Jesse and his techs took my car right in and had it done in no time. While I sat in a very air conditioned waiting room that was very comfy with a flat screen TV. I was very comfortable there.

As I said, I had never done tinting before so I needed some good advice. Jesse was right on about the level of tinting needed. It looks great!

Now, I will have to update this recommendation after a few weeks or so or after a long drive across country this Fall to let you know how they are holding up, but my experience today was just how business should be done. :)
