Freebirds World Burrito

Move over Chipotle, because you will never and I mean NEVER, be as delicious as FREEBIRDS.

As a proud Texan, I've got so much love for this establishment that oozes out Lone Star State pride.

There burritos are literally life changing. Compared to the competition, Freebirds lets you chose the size of your burrito, and the type of tortilla you would like.

They also have an abundance of options to put in your burrito/bowl. This includes queso, different types of rice, refried beans (yes! refriend beans!), and all types of veggies.

You can also make your own nachos or tacos, which no one else comes close to.

During my most recent visit, I went for a bowl. The team working there was incredibly friendly and provided phenomenal service. My bowl had refried beans, Spanish rice, brisket (seasonal item), corn, veggies, and love!

Yeee-haw! I love Freebirds, we need to save these Texas icons y'all. They are slowly disappearing off the map, I'll make sure to do my part, you make sure to do yours!

I've been going to Freebirds for years. As a College Station native, death sauce runs through my veins. But my favorite location is this one here, mainly because of their awesome customer service. For example I just got done eating there where the lady at the cashier, Tina, took the extra time to talk to me about how I could use my points, how to download the app and setup my account, all the while juggling other customers and cleanup duties.

Amazing service, very kind and helpful, i didn't get the name of the staff member that assisted me, but she offered me suggestions, and gave me a free sample of the vegan chorizo. I went ahead with her suggestion and i suggest the same! get a bowl with some chips and treat it like a dip! chipotle who?

I come to this Freebirds often, and I have always had excellent service here. I can't complain about any interaction I've had, and they have been my favorite location since moving back to Texas. 10/10 recommend and please tip!

Centrally located right off a main highway! Everyone is always nice and welcoming when you come in. Food is always fresh and tasty! Definitely would recommend

The service here is quick and efficient. The servers were able to get the lunch rush line through very quickly. Free Bird's has a long list of vegan ingredients to enjoy and I had a lot of fun looking at the variety of options. This is a great place to go for a quick vegan burrito.

This spot has become one of our favorite places to stop on our bike ride. We work up our hunger then go get a burrito bowl and it's been like this for about a month. Such a cool staff. They are efficient and super great with their customers. I really like this location because there's plenty of outdoor seating which is perfect for these crazy Covid times. I'm sure we will continue to frequent here on our normal week night!

I always love Freebirds, especially this location. But today I felt compelled to come leave a nice yelp review. The service was prompt and everyone I interacted with was super nice. The food all looked super fresh and tasted delicious. I love their carnitas and chicken! Queso beats chipotle's everyday. Solid quick dinner spot!

This time I was going for a meatless burrito bowl and I love that they have an option for veggie & guac at no extra charge.

There veggies consist of grilled peppers & onions.

This is definitely my favorite freebirds in Houston. They obviously take a lot of care when it comes to seasoning their meat in comparison to other locations. The restaurant is always clean, the employees are nice and the service is quick.
