Zero stars if possible. I had the absolute worst experience with this surgeon. The follow up care was not good, my incisions opened up and didn't close for months ( not my fault). I had breast implants removed and a lift as suggested by the surgeon. I left with two different size breasts, scars across my breasts, visible stitch marks, areolas that are totally deformed, purple scars and I'm just about as unhappy as I could be. He has two accounts in yelp so I will be sure to share my experience in both. I am also happy to provide pictures to anyone who is considering this surgeon- you can be the judge for yourself! I can't wear a normal bra or fitted shirts because of the concave areolas that make my breasts look like Pac-Man! I need a revision for the lift, tattoos to at least make my breasts look a bit better and a fat transfer to fill in the missing tissue on the smaller breast and concave aerolas which will cost me another 15k at least and they will likely never look great again.

Based on my experience, I absolutely cannot recommend the mini lift-- my jowels were slight I am a petite lady---he sat me in front of a mirror and gently pull each side of my cheek lifting the jowels. This is what I can do for you and you will have a nice Natural look! bottom line results on the left side of jaw was droopier then it was initially, can you have time for Dr. Barr who is in his 70s to hang up with Surgical tools techniques are not updated. he offered to redo the surgery and or use fillers as he said my job was crooked etc. if it wasn't done correctly the first time, why would you want the same person to attempt a second surgery? Where do I start with Dr. Barr and his staff? They have been amazing and I am not sure there are enough words to describe what his office has done for me. I made an appointment with Dr. Barr for a consult to get my implants removed due to medical issues that I believed were related to my implants. From the moment I walked in the door, I felt like family. Front the front desk staff, to meeting Carla, Candy and then Dr. Barr, I knew I was at the right place for help and I booked my surgery that day.

Dr. Barr has been at every single pre-op and post-op appointment. He clearly explained all the risks and possible outcomes, there were no false promises made, which is very important to me. The day of surgery, Dr. Barr spent time with me in pre-op and then spoke to my husband who was in the waiting room. Candy and Dr. Barr walked next to me and kept me calm as I was being taken into the operating room.

My surgery went well and within an hour of arriving home, I felt better than I have felt in years. And, Dr. Barr called me within a couple of hours of arriving home after surgery. This is not a bedside service that you commonly see.

Explanting is a tough decision to make, but for me, it was the right one; and Dr. Barr was the only doctor I considered. His ethical standards are above and beyond most. His decision to stop explanting is a perfect example of his ethical nature.

Since surgery, Dr. Barr and his staff have been extremely caring and responsive. Explant surgery is an emotional rollercoaster, the support of Dr. Barr and his staff have made this process a breeze.

I will not hesitate to use Dr. Barr for any services I need in the future.

I went to Dr. Barr because of his impeccable reputation. Prior to choosing Dr. Barr I had 3 other consultations. I felt most comfortable with Dr. Barr.
My procedure was a mini-face list. Preceding the surgery Dr. Barr spent significant time in his evaluation. He was honest and sincere with what I should expect from the procedure. I never felt pressured, quite the contrary.
The staff was warm, kind and professional. In addition, they were extremely comforting during the entire procedure. The day after the procedure I returned for a follow-up. Again, the staff was so comforting, warm and kind.
The final result is a natural look. I don't look overdone nor stretched. That was my biggest concern. I was back at work within a week. There was very little downtime.
I highly recommend Dr. Barr!

He is amazing!! His work is beyond words!! Keeps you natural looking! Dr.Barr and Candy his nurse are just wonderful! The whole office is so welcoming!! Awake Lift was everything plus more!! Cant be happier!

It was a wonderful experience. He took an extended amount of time along with patients to explain the procedure I was about to undergo.
He explained in detail what to expect realistically according to my face structure.
Dr. Barr's staff is awesome, they were involved in the procedure from pre to post op. They exude compassion,warmheartedness along with their own skill set of professionalism and knowledge.

I saw Dr. Barr as a result of a terrible scar on my face. This was due to being shot in a robbery. Mind you this was years ago but it still sticks with me today. He told me he was not a magician. Very insensitive remark and could have been said in a gentle manner or not at all.
Well now I found an excellent PS and he is a magician!!

This doctor's knowledge and expertise helped me realize all the symptoms of breast implant illness and get the toxic bags out, which saved my life. I cannot thank you enough for everything you do in advocating for injured patients.

The best experience I've had with a plastic surgeon!! Dr. Barr is not only an exceptional surgeon, he is also a kind, emphatic and thoughtful person. He made sure I was relaxed, comfortable and in a positive mood before my procedure. He also called me personally afterwards to make sure I was doing well. I believe a greet plastic surgeon should be an artist in their own right...I would highly recommend Dr. Barr and his staff for being all of the above!

Where do I start! This Surgeon and his Team are the best in the industry, from the minute you walk into his office, you are made to feel like family, everyone that works for Dr Barr is very professional, polite and puts you at ease. If you are looking for a Jaw and Neck lift ( Awake Lift) with NO long down time (weeks) and not having to go under anesthesia( Nasty drugs and chemicals) then this is the surgeon and place to achieve your dream of getting rid of the turkey neck and sagging jowls. I only wish I had done it sooner and not wasted money on fillers and skin tightening machines that did nothing. Fillers and Botox can help a little but eventually you will need surgery, I had the surgery in the morning and was home in the afternoon walking around, took a shower and had something to eat , I was working at my job after a weekend of resting! Id like to say a big thanks to Nurse Danielle,( Kept me calm) Nurse Candy, Carla and all the staff at the office. I'd also like to thank, patient Tami W another reviewer for taking time to talk to me via Yelp about her procedure, while I was making my decision. (If you have any questions about this procedure you can ask me) The results are what I wanted,Im very happy, please remember this is a mini lift.
