Franklin Hill Vineyards is a family-owned and operated wine shop that I remember was located in Tannersville, Pennsylvania. But they moved to Stroudsburg. Next to yuppie puppy. The wine shop offers a variety of their award-winning wines for purchase along with gift baskets and swag. They have lots of types and flavors available from cake, to cotton candy. You can taste the great quality of their wines. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, who are happy to provide recommendations and answer questions about the wines.
The shop offers tastings of their wines, allowing customers to sample the different varietals before making a purchase.
Franklin Hill Vineyards wine shop appears to be a must-visit destination for wine lovers in the area. Whether you're a seasoned wine connoisseur or just starting to explore the world of wine, the friendly staff, inviting atmosphere, and high-quality wines make this shop a great choice for any wine enthusiast.

Did the $7 Test Tube Tasting of 5 Wines at noon on a Thursday for a fun taste of the local flavors. We selected a few serious ones and some fun ones...
- Swan Song
- Cask
- Vidal Blanc
- Katie's Creek
- Mango Margarita Sangria
The Cask & Vidal Blanc are legit considerations for serious wine drinkers who enjoy the complexity of acids, sugars, and subtle flavors of more traditional wines.
Cask came off with a high alcohol content, dry front and berry finish. If you love a rich and intense red to pair with steak or rich creamy pasta, this would be beautiful.
Vidal Blanc landed with complexity and balance with a rounded semi-sweet finish- perfect for people who reach for a Resiling.
Katie's Creek would land in the more fun sweet wine category wet and sugary approaching a sangria mixer or dessert selection.
Swansong won't be around much longer. It has simple flavors and lands a little more on the juice end of grapes, so I can see a good reason for phasing it out.
Mango Margarita Sangria was a special fun mix for easy and sweet summer drinking, like a low alcohol cocktail.Helpful 5Thanks 1Love this 3Oh no 0 - Jan 30, 2022
They had a nice little tasting, the wines are very unique and were tasteful. Nice and organized and you can buy any other wines to take home. We got there a little early and missed their live music, check their schedules.

I was blown away when I came here. I wasn't sure if they just sold their wine or if you could do tastings and hang out. What a great spot! Very cute, great service, reasonably priced. Not to mention they have seasonal flavors and really fun flavors (cotton candy, cake etc). Each night has a different event like monday mix ups they blend various flavors and other day is a dollar off tastings.
I'll be going back for surrreee.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ernesto G.Lorton, VA385979Oct 13, 2018

Wow! Visiting from NJ stopped here thinking it was an actual winery from Google Maps, and once we saw it was a store we walked in and were pleasantly surprised. Has a full bar set up style for wine tasting, cute decor and wine for purchase. 6 wine tasting $5, 4 3oz pours for $12 on Friday. Staff was SUPER knowledgeable and generous, Abigail was awesome! Great selection of wine they let you try different combinations. We did 6 tastings and then got the flight with our favorite. Great retail of aioli, dips, wine glasses, carriers, and other stuff for wine lovers. We spent hour and half - highly recommend! They have events such as live bands some nights too.

I have been a fan of Franklin Hill Vineyards for many years and have never been disappointed! Abigail at the Bartonsville/Stroudsburg location is amazing! She is so knowledgeable about the brand and the products. Plus she is super attentive to everyone who walks in and makes you feel so welcomed! You won't be disappointed by their wine...I love just about everything but my fav is definitely Red Head!

I love Franklin Hill Vineyards! I've been to their actual winery, but I'm so glad this shop is nearby our vacation home, because there is nothing like their wines or service for that matter!
This wine shop is located in a shopping plaza, and while the actual store is a little small, it works just fine! It's never crowded and the staff are always knowledgeable and attentive. They have snacks, gift packaging, home decorations, and some other things for purchase. Parking is always easy to find as the lot in front is usually empty.
You can come in for a tasting, which I and my guests tend to always do (since it's inexpensive and you can try up to 6 wines). The price is $3/person or $5/person if you want to take home one of their wine glasses. They usually have pretzels or cookies to munch on in between tastings. One time they had these delicious lemon cookies, but I have never been able to find them since.
My favorite is the classic Sir Walters Red. It's around $11 for the small bottle. I can't remember the price of the bigger bottle, but it's definitely worth the price. It's sweet and light, and it's just a classic. The Fainting Goat and Katie's Creek are also delicious.
As I stated before, the service here is always great. The ladies know what they're talking about, know how to strike up a conversation, and just seem to enjoy what they do. They package the wines well if you're buying enough to need a casing too.
Franklin Hill also makes custom labels, if you need these as party gifts. We've had them made for my brother's graduation party a couple of years ago. They came out beautiful and were great gifts for the guests. We recently inquired about doing this again for a different reason, and the ladies were able to show us some designs and tell us what to do to move forward.
All in all, this is a great shop. If you have the time, take the trip to the vineyard and you won't be disappointed.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Rich S.East Bangor, PA010Aug 25, 2020
So happy my wife and I found this place. Chrissy was so friendly and helpful. We loved the wine and ended up buying a case. We will definitely be back. If you ever get a chance go you will not be disappointed and if you get to meet Chrissy even better. We rate this place 5 Stars.

Amazing wine selection and friendly staff. I just bought a case and I am sure I'll be back shortly. The price isn't outrageous like some other wineries I have been to.
