In a word - a place that will satisfy your ice cream needs with a great variety of flavors.
Longer version (for the brave) - after a good meal sometimes an ice cream is exactly what we needed.
So we started looking for an ice cream place and we're lucky enough to find that one just around the corner...
As we walked in we needed about five minutes to actually decide what we want to!
Ended up taking a mango sorbet as I was still bit stuffed from dinner.
My friend had marzipan and poppy ice cream which was very special
Only thing is - if you have such good ice cream... Why won't you consider getting better waffles?
This was really a bad finish!
Please note that in summer time the place is open until 22:00 and not 21:00 as mentioned - an hour more of fun! YumHelpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Haley K.Chicago, IL1144434Aug 24, 2015
Yes yes yes! My go-to Eis joint in Berlin and only 1,10 a Kugel (scoop)!!
Varying selection of flavors and not just your usual Erdbeer (strawberry) and Schokolade. The Himbeer (raspberry) Basil is always good or the Mango Lassi!!
The women working were always very kind and speak English as well.
I also got the Spaghetti Eis once which is nice because you can get a small for around 3,50 and try this German specialty. Tastes great but the strawberry sauce was a little soupy to actually look like spaghetti.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mauricio O.Los Angeles, CA343626Jun 10, 2018
This place hit the spot with cooling down the hot Korean meal I ate earlier. Nice selection of flavors and friendly neighborhood service the night I was there. The patio was a great vantage point to people watch the locals

Great ice cream shop located in a fun area! We wanted some ice cream at 9:30pm and saw this place online. We arrived 2 min before they supposedly closed (10pm) but they remained open well past this time as the place was pretty busy. Prices are cheap, lots of unique flavors available and they have a little sitting area outside the store. The sugar cones are really fresh tasting. I enjoyed mine so much I went in for seconds!

It was Mondaya drizzly, grey and cold Monday. It was 4pm I had severe sugar cravings kicking in and I was in search for something sweet
Like a bright light at the end of a tunnel I couldn't shield my eyes from the numbers of people emerging from this place. How could people eat ice cream in this weather I thought? My curiosity got the better of me and with a hop, skip and jump from the cafe opposite I was going to find out
There were eight flavours on display including erdbeer (strawberry), hazelnut, chocolate, lemon, pistachio and the rather delightful peanut caramel (which when mixed with the chocolate flavour tasted rather like a snickers bar - yum).
The ice cream was incredibly smoooooooooooth and for only 80 cents for a reasonable sized scoop, I now kick myself for not having tried all the flavours whilst I had the chance (doh!)
I can only imagine how busy this place gets in the Summer - especially with the nursery opposite - all those kids, mums and dads this place must be a goldmine! Certainly better than Haagen Daz ice cream.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kyle S.Seattle, WA53911Jun 29, 2015
The gelato was good and the lady who helped me was very patient with my terrible German. She spoke a little English and was able to help me with my order. Price wasn't bad but everything seems a little pricey compared to the states. I would come again.
