Looking for a nice family vacation spot, this is it.
Camping, park your RV, go fishing, enjoy the wonderful well kept up nature trails, nice kid play area and swimming . Living in the same town, it's so nice to have a great place like this to enjoy on a daily bases.

Went here on a really dreary day and no one was around. The whole atmosphere was kind of depressing...an old rusting children's park, empty trailer spots....it almost felt like being in a scary movie. Also, I'll note that if you are as scared of snakes as I am this probably isn't the spot for you!

The only reason to go out of your way to go here would maybe be for fishing - Im not a fishing expert but the boats out there were making some catches and seemed pretty happy about it.

We have always enjoyed going to this park in the winter. DO NOT GO IN SUMMER! The ANT population will carry your RV away. It was horrible. Could not imagine tent camping. It was so infested with ants that we literally had ants in the car on the way home. Please Frank Jackson PUT DOWN ANT KILLER!

Beautiful park with lots of hiking and biking trails next to a beautiful lake. Full hookups and good Wifi and cable. Can't beat that! Sites back up to lake with shade and privacy. Didn't see one snake or any alligators just lots of squirrels which our dog loved. Great park. We highly recommend.

Great place to enjoy a quiet weekend with family or by yourself. Less than 5 minutes from downtown Opp and the hospital. Very VERY tranquil and peaceful entire time I stayed there. Each spot has standard RV connections PLUS internet/cable/electrical outlets for regular tent camping. Be aware though during cold weather to NOT get a lake side spot if tent camping as cold north winds winds will blow right across the lake and south through your site and possibly rip apart your tent, instead get a site not on the lake as the trees will block the wind.... last fall I saw too many people make that mistake and lose their tents!
