The food is UNDERWHELMING to say the least. The side of pasta I was served with my scallops was Luke warm and watery like it was dipped in hot water and slapped in a bowl with a slab of butter. Meatballs had a bit too much spice for the kids and grandpa. I tried one and wouldn't enjoy them either to be honest. Pizza was similar to that of frozen.
View is nice. Bathrooms are recently remodeled and clean. Finding the hostess station is hard--Walk past the bar and into the dining room and it's on the right hand side. The bar and restaurant has a smell of a motel air conditioner.... Moldy and old. Parking is sparse. But you can dock a boat!
Make sure to call and make reservations if you plan to come here. People keep coming for the view.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Sheryl M.Buffalo, NY7745May 27, 2023
5 stars great waterfront view, great ambiance, food and service!
There was a problem with water pressure in the ladies restroom.
(That was the only downfall)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sep 16, 2022
This place is always busy but they have a very nice location on the water. My family and I went on a Sunday night and there was about a 30-45 minute wait around 7 pm. Parking was a little difficult because it was so busy but we were able to find parking a little bit down the street. When we were seated, the workers were nice to us but it was very warm and there were a lot of flies. We had bread for the table. I ordered the salmon which was tasty. The teriyaki sauce on the salmon was good. We had a nice dinner but just a little warm and had to wait.

This place has gone downhill over the years. Been coming here since a kid in the 80s and it's not close to what it once was. This particular trip ordered multiple pizzas to go. Order was messed up and given wrong pizza. Came back to have it corrected and after another 30 minutes it was corrected but then pizza was not good. Undercooked and minimal toppings. The staff I dealt with was very attentive and tried to remedy the mixup but even if that didn't happen the quality wasn't great for the price. Much better options between the Bay & Clayton.

Not sure why there are so many negative reviews. My wife and i ate at Foxy's on a saturday evening. I had the prime rib dinner, she had spaghetti. Our waitress was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed, even when it started to get busy.
Yes, it does get a little loud in the dining room, per other reviews, but not sure what people expect? Its a large room with 30+ people in it. Its going to get a little noisy.
Our food was excellent. Perfect cook on my prime rib, and my wife's spaghetti was hot and sauce was good.
Overall, would eat here again. Nice views, good food. Would recommend calling ahead if more than 4 in your party.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Susan K.NY, NY03Aug 23, 2023
On a recent Sunday our group of 8 met for dinner at 6:00pm. Our reservations were quickly noted and we were seated. Foxy's was busy throughout our time there. Cole was our server and was very friendly and efficient . Specials were announced and all drink orders taken. We skipped appetizers and all ordered our salads and entrees. Fresh bread arrived with drinks, followed by salads. We ordered a variety of entrees from the Italian platter, to riggies to filet and some seafood dishes. All were hot and delicious. Drinks were refilled from the bar as requested and some of us ordered desserts. Cole did a wonderful job in a very busy setting. The view of the St Lawrence River was spectacular and we will return!
There is a service charge for credit cards and it's usually a bit noisy but more due to acoustics than rowdy guests.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Truth S.Venice, FL0151Dec 24, 2023
Outstanding food and service. You have to try the chicken parm, it's the best I've ever had. Really good meat balls and sauce. We've been going regularly each season since 2010 and can't say enough good things about them.

I find it truly misleading when a place is busy and continues to seat guests. We also were seated quickly but then waiter was not told of our table. We checked in and they sent her over. It get worse then we wait over an hour and half still no food while I sit here and write this review. So far the place is a no go for me. Very loud too.

Good news here, the owner was friendly and very apologetic for his embarrassing, insecure, and rude server. He reimbursed my CC for the full amount that was charged.
Although this was a bad experience at least the owner did right by me and my family. I'm sure we will be back at some point because like I said the food has yet to disappoint.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 1Aug 24, 2021Previous reviewI am absolutely disgusted, I just checked my account from dinner and the angry little sad server stole from me and gave herself a tip!!!!!! Look at my photos. She will not be getting away with this. Also unbelievable that management let this slide. WOWWWWWW
Aug 22, 2021Previous reviewTwo stars because at least the manager was friendly...
We come here all the time and do love the food, so honestly we probably will come back.
This review is strictly for the waitress named MJ and the bad bartender who was making out with her boyfriend instead of serving my father...
We sat down at 815pm and I watched as the server MJ looked us up and down ignoring us on purpose as she waited on tables that came in after us... it was taking forever so I kindly went up to the manager and said hi, we haven't been waited on yet I'm just not sure if we were forgotten about.... The manager was apologetic and kind and said yes, of course I'm so sorry, someone will be over soon, and took my wine drink order.... The server finally came over at 8:45 for drink orders... what a joke... she was so unbelievably rude and quit frankly unintelligent!!! She didn't even acknowledge that we were waiting forever... Honestly we should've walked out... she brought over the wine finally and passive aggressively asked who ordered the wine when I was the only person without a drink... then I saw her walking up the stairs laughing and then turned and made eye contact with me... HA! it was so obviously passive aggressive and rude it was almost comical. My whole family saw it.
We finally get our food order and the mosquitoes were coming out attacking us!!! We grabbed 4 boxes and paid and left. We did tell the kind manager about our experience and she said fortunately it's MJ's last day.. good move!
I hope MJ can adjust her attitude, clearly she has A LOT of insecurities and personality issues. She should not be in the service industry.
BUT I will say, the chef did a good job, the food was good!! - Sue T.Lima, NY201Jul 31, 2023
We visit the restaurant often during the last 35 years at the Thousand Islands. This year will probably be the last time. With our of town (NC) visitors we made reservations for 6:30 for a party of 7. We arrived early and we're not seated until 6:50. Yes they were very busy.. we were seated outside on the deck , another large group of 10 or 12 were also seated outside. Our waiter brought water, kids sodas and ice tea. We had salads and bread and waited for our order. And waited and waited, as did the other large party We requested our dinner several times and were told they'll check. Finally about 8:45 we left , paid for the salads, bread and 3 drinks .. never were served. It was starting to get dark and lighting was poor. There was no offer to move us inside. The head waitress made us feel it was our fault for leaving and just said she was sorry. Great experience for out of town guests. We won't be back.
