Now called Hsin Fortuna (since 2017).
Dinner for 2 last Wednesday night 7pm. Reasonably busy, but not too much - about the right atmosphere.
We had sweet & sour pork, and the black pepper chicken.
Both very nice; might be worth ordering 3 serves of steamed rice tho, as 2 were not quite enough for us.
Very accommodating to dietary preferences, gluten-free etc. And no msg is no problem, as apparently they hardly use it anyway! Possibly this means the flavours don't quite reach the level of 'amazing', but I'm fine with that.
Service frequent and very good, but personally I prefer to spoon out our steamed rice myself.
Note: tables for 2 are along the walkway, so if u feel uncomfortable with sizzling plates going past frequently, that may be an issue. They are mostly covered, however.
Overall, good food well priced, and pretty quick.
      4.5 stars!

This place is always busy which shows its popularity with the locals. I love Chinese New Year there and the fantastic banquet deal.

The huge lobster placed in the middle of the table as one of the dishes is devoured, and we get given claw breakers to make sure we get all the meat from the shell.

Interesting, we had some tropical fruit given to us this time, very similar to lychee, and known as Longans.

Always great to go there with family and friends.

Fortuna Court isn't my first choice when it comes to Chinese, but it's one of the few Asian restaurants you can find on the Italian food-dominant strip that is The Parade.

This place isn't bad. You can expect a good feed at a reasonable price. I've been here a couple of times with friends and we've all enjoyed our meals. The service is pretty quick, considering they do get busy, and all with a smile. Of course, the only way to eat here is family style - in true Azn fashion! (I can say this because I am one...)

On the other hand, I've never been here with family. Being oh-so-Azn, we believe there are better choices out there - BUT, Fortuna Court has satisfied my hunger cravings before, so I believe it will do the same for you!

The first time I went to Fortuna Court, I had only received a verbal invite from a friend. She told me to meet her at Fortuna Court on the Parade. I have to admit here and now I thought I was heading for Four Tuna Court but couldn't understand how The Parade part of the address fit into the equation!?! Eventually I took off my blonde wig and realised there was no fish in the address and that I was actually headed to Fortuna Court. What a goose!

Anyway, crisis over and I went along to join a group of friends for a hearty Chinese feed. That's what this place is good for. Get a group together and head there to bulk up on some old fashioned Chinese rice and satay. Like Andrew says, there's nothing 5 star about Fortuna Court but I can guarantee you'll be well fed and when its time to leave, the price won't hurt your wallet either.

All in all Four Tuna Court is worth a visit.

A bit over priced Chinese fusion. The food is Panda Express (USA) or Wok in Box (Aussie) equivalent, in terms of quality and style. However, the banquet is over $40 per head (drinks excluded). Soup was very sour and spicy, out of balance, clear traces of Lao Gan Ma. Duck was nice, cut in front of customers, but very little meat, and no choice available over the rest of the duck for the customers. Other dishes are very simple fusion. Highlight may be the dessert. Wine list is Ok.

Fortuna Court has been the setting for countless family get togethers over the course of my life. As we are a big group we are usually placed at the large table close to the bar, the one with the lazy suzan, which is perfect because, aside from fitting us all in, it also gives my uncle ample opportunity to hammer the waiters about refilling his drink and ensuring that the rice is delived exactly simultaneously with the first dish.

Despite this, the people at Fortuna Court are always friendly and welcoming. Service is promt and efficient and the food is quite good Chinese Fare. We tend to order a fairly set menu on such occassions, which saves the fuss of actually asking people what they would like to eat, and then share it all banquet style. Nothing spectacularly out there, salt and pepper squid, pepercorn chicken mongolian lamb, peking duck, some sort of noodle dish, perhaps something seafood, a few asian greens. Everything is good, but nothing will blow your mind, at least on our standard checksheet. Perhaps there is something on the specials board, I have never looked.

Fortuna court reminds me of the Chinese restaurants I went to with my family as a kid. We'd sit around the table, a group of about 20 of us, sharing the food spread out over the lazy susan.

It was good to be able to get back to that experience. The food is surprisingly very flavorsome, and makes you want to eat everything on the plate. The winner for me was the sweet and sour scallops, which were cooked perfectly in a well balanced sweet yet sour and salty sauce. The fried rice was also full of flavour, and not at all bland. I could have eaten it all on it's own.

The staff were great, very friendly and welcoming.

Fantastic meal. Outstanding Cantonese meal. Probably the best I've ever had in Adelaide. We ordered for two adults and one child (almost 7). We shared two shallot omelets and steamed dumplings. The dumplings were the best I have every had, full and flavoursome. They came with two sauces one soy, the other chilli. We ordered the steam rice for three. Could have easily ordered for two because there was more than half left. We ordered the lemon chicken - although deep fried it didn't feel oily. The child said it was the best thing he has ever tasted. We also ordered the braised squid and vegetables. We fought over who got to eat the vegetables the flavours were great. It opens at 5pm so its great for those of us with children. It seats about 50 - its clean, its quiet and its well run. The service is fantastic, quick to take the order for both meals and drinks and quick to deliver the food. Cost was very reasonable. We will be going back, but will only order one main next time to share as the meals are very large. We didn't eat half of one of the mains, not because it was bad but because everything was so tasty we couldn't fit in another bit. We will be back. Best meal for quite some time.
