Follies

So, I finally made it to Follies after hearing the hype for a few years. Went around 7pm on a Sunday night for a friend's birthday. (I know. In strip clubs, that's pretty early, but it was for the birthday girl).

Spacing: The size of the club is quite smaller than I expected. It definitely looks bigger on the outside. Even at 7pm on a Sunday, you still kind of had to squeeze past other patrons of the club. We still managed to find two tables and some stage seating, so none of us had to stand.

Atmosphere: The music was fair. Your typical trap music, twerk music, and everything that is HOT on the radio....The Saints and Panthers were playing this night, so the TVs in the club showed the game and stayed on sports channels the remainder of the night....We also noticed that Follies is very dark. It was almost hard to really see the dancers and your surroundings.

Dancers: The dancers were nice. Conversed with our tables during and in-between songs. I'm not sure if we were there too early for the "better dancers", but unfortunately, we weren't impressed. The ladies were pretty and had nice outfits, but their bodies and dancing weren't anything special to make me say "I want a dance from her." Although most of the dancers are black, they have multiple races and nationalities for your enjoyment.

Price: Even at the time we went, the entry fee was $20 for both men and women, but of course, it goes up as time goes on. Ladies can not attend by themselves and must enter with a gentleman. Lap dances are $10.

Food: Members from our group ordered wings, chicken tenders, and fries. HIGHLY recommend. Food is A1!

Overall: I still enjoyed myself. I'll probably go again at a later time on a "poppin" night to see if it would be better. Oh, and the birthday girl had the time of her life. That's all that matters.

I really wish I could give Follies zero stars. First, we got there and they said they wouldn't let us in without a male present. Then, I asked someone if we could walk in with them and they said, "Yes." I turned around and they were gone.

Then, we paid to have valet park and stood in a line. After 10 minutes, they switched and made another line ($20) then orchestrated another line that was $40 to get in for all of 5 minutes then $60 to get in. I didn't even get inside because we stood in line for quite some time (over a half hour) because there was a 'hold on the door'. Then, the bouncer let the people paying $60 inside when we had been standing in line forever. .

It was after midnight so we decided to leave. They didn't give us our $40 valet money back or anything which was the LEAST they could do since we didn't make it inside. They should allow whoever parks and pays and comes to this club to get inside. They don't know how much money I'm trying to spend and/or tip. I bet I'll tip a lot more than the average but Follies will never see it.

So mad they made money off of us for nothing. I will never come here again. Customer service sucks. The bouncers strong-armed a group of guys who had just left the club to go to their car.. they had to pay another $60 for re-entry. I've been to numerous strip clubs in Atlanta and have never had an experience like this before.

Man, I really hope this place opens back up. I was last there in August 2019 and the girls were so plentiful and sexy! It's like Disneyland for adult entertainment, and the place was packed on a Monday afternoon which you never see at any other strip club. Not only were the girls young, thin and pretty, but they are friendly and love to sit and chat with you before getting a dance. One really cute blond about 21 years old just sat with me for 20 minutes as we laughed telling stories, and we ended up kissing on the couch like horny teenagers! Needless to say, we went into the VIP to have some naughty fun and she knew how to please a man.

Follies was the first strip club I have ever been to and it was a wild/ dope experience. My boys and I were rookies to this because it was all of our first time. We had trouble getting ones because the bartenders were acting like fools smh.

We realized that anything goes in ATL strip clubs. The girls we had dancing for us got completely naked which I was low-key caught off guard lol. They got a come up on us because we were newbies but despite spending that cash, I had a good ass time. In NYC, smoking is a nono in clubs but they dgaf in atl lol

This was one of my favorite clubs. I hear that it is closed permanently. The price was affordable and there were plenty of beautiful women. There are plenty more clubs in the city of Atlanta. But this one will be missed!

First time here was for New Year's Eve. This was the second strip club I visited that night. Guy was charging $15 to park and $10 to get in. Female at the front door was rude as hell and they should replace her. Walked in not bad but it was slight small. Headed aright to the bathroom where like 4 strippers were in there along with the make up girl, plus the lady who sales breath mints and more.

Headed to the bar which had two chairs available to order a few drinks. The bartender told us $16.50 ok so my boyfriend gave her a $20 and his change should've been $3.50 ummm nope she gave back $3.00 not that it's so serious but it's the principle of you giving back full change and let me give you your tip. Am I wrong? At the end of the day I know they still have to make money because a lot of people don't tip. I am a tipper people.

Any who, a dance was $10 for the entire song , drinks were not watered down , some trippers stood around scared to make that money honey (hahaha). In all I brought in my new year and I had a good time.

They wouldn't let us in because we walked from our neighborhood and they require you to park in the premises.
They allowed people of lighter skin color to go in who were walking by me.
Highly profiling, when I called them out they said they reserve the right of entrance to whomever they see fit.

I walked in the club and immediately saw a stripper dancing on top of a table while getting fingered, and not by one finger, not by two fingers, but dude had the entire Westside hand sign up there. LOL.

It was litt, so litt, that I left after about 20 minutes. Way too crowded...

I like strip clubs, but I don't like overly crowded strip clubs, it was a good atmosphere though.

So a friend wanted to stop by this establishment for happy hour and grab some food. He explained that we would get in for free before 7 But we arrive about 5 mins late and therefore has to pay. I was really hungry and heard that they had some decent wings so i thought I'd give them a try. I've learned not to take food suggestions bold face and that's because sometimes people don't know what "good" really is. The wings came out about less than 10 mins after ordering (i really want to say less than 7) and that immediately gave me bad vibes about how they were about to taste. Wings should take a bit longer than that too cool and prepare so i know right away i was being fed something old... and they tasted as such. The were dry with a weird texture to them and hardly tasted like chicken... i will never order wings here again and would NOT suggest that anyone spend their money on food here. JUST WAIT UNTIL YOU LEAVE TO EAT.
