Excellent sushi in the South Bay! My brother and his girlfriend love Flyin Fin, and after hearing them rave about it many times I decided I needed to try it. We visited this evening and everything was delicious!

The Top Secret (Chef's choice) was my favorite. We ordered two and I wish I could recall what was inside. I thought it was fun and exciting to be surprised by the Chef. My brother said he's never been disappointed by going with a "Top Secret". The Real Deal was also fresh and bright. It was a nice light option that paired well with the Absolutely amazing roll, which was so creamy. The crab and avocado melted in my mouth. I would absolutely order it again!

Happy Hour is definitely the way to go. They offer a variety of specialty rolls, but one get one 50%. I also really enjoyed sitting near the bar, fast and friendly service :-)

The service was great and they sat us outside so we could watch the sunset and set up a heat lamp to keep us warm. The indoor restaurant is clean but quite small.

I had been there a couple years ago and loved it but I feel like the quality has gone down. The food came out very quickly which was nice but the flyin fin roll did not taste fresh. There was shrimp tempura in it which was cold and stale. I don't think they fry the tempura fresh which is why it was so quick. The roll also supposedly had fresh crab in it but I thought it was very tasteless. The sunset in the South Bay was much better and I would recommend this roll!

Not sure if I came on a bad night, but I was pretty disappointed. Overall I think there are a lot of better sushi restaurants in the South Bay.

The servers are incredibly attentive and warm. Lots of tables inside and out. Very friendly vibe! The chefs always greet everyone. I had the top secret roll (which didn't sit well with my stomach and didn't love how the white fish tasted which is why 4 stars) and the Mega Omega roll which I loved (5 stars). The flavors were wonderful overall and the presentation was beautiful. I would go back and try other rolls for sure. They have a fun menu with lots of creative sushi rolls.

If your looking for a sushi spot in redondo beach. Look no furthers the price for the quality is the best of the best. We come here so often we know the owner and he such an awesome guy! Also on the weekends you sit at the bar the sushi chefs/owner/ staff with take shots with you! Such a vibe and all the locals come here. My favorite is to get the top secrets! They never disappoint! When we are in town this is our go to place for sushi!

Came here for lunch with my friend&it was bogo 50% off! They had plenty of outside seating which was great! The food wasnt bad, i liked the rolls and the fish tasted fresh. The prices werent bad either. My friend also had a matcha ipa which was surprisingly really good. Our waiter was also so great &gave me great recommendations.

Was looking forward to dining in at Flyin Fin, and I didn't get seated at all even though my name written on the waitlist (and I was waiting to be seated per the sign).

Two parties who came after me were immediately seated and they didn't even write their names on the list. I was floating around at the door, but none of the servers cared to check in. Left after a couple minutes of waiting and being ignored by 3 servers.

Wonderful sushi and most of all excellent service! I recommend this place anytime you want authentic Japanese sushi

Came in on a busy Friday night and was able to be seated right away.
The staff were all very hard working, kind, and funny!
They didn't have any green tea mochi for dessert, so the manager said to wait and he'd make me something. He made me the cutest orange snack!
We loved the black cod, omega mega roll and the crispy rice appetizer. They have outdoor and indoor seating.
We felt really welcomed by the entire staff
The indoor seating is very lively
The outdoor seating is a little more calm

All I can say is: meh. I wanted to like this place because so many people in my circle go, but I was pretty disappointed with both food and service.

Their sushi was alright, nothing extraordinary, just okay. Their rolls were pretty weird, there would be good things in the roll and all of a sudden they would put something random that I felt like didn't belong. I couldn't eat anything spicy because of a stomach issue, and I wanted a simple roll with tuna but everything was either spicy or had baked tuna or something strange.

Edamame was okay, miso soup was good. Fire cracker was alright per my friend. I added a simple tuna roll and the rice was still a little warm, which made the fish taste really weird. Also was poorly wrapped.

Service was alright. Our waitress messed up our bill, and for whatever reason my card needed a pin. She had me go to the machine to put in my pin, and I had to go do it again because she messed up our bill. Kind of messy
