Flooring America

Second time visiting Flooring America and once again no disappointment. Chris is a true professional at asking the best questions to understand your needs. Highly recommend, you get better materials professional help and advice and bailed out quickly when you come up short at a comparable price.

They do have a nice selection of flooring but the price is completely out of line in my opinion. The people working in the store didn't seem to be bothered to get up and come over to help me with my search and questions. They just told me from comfort behind the counter. I understand with ' the situation' people are leery but they could get six feet away so they know what you are looking at.

We had a water heater flood take out our entire townhouse 1st floor, including the stairs to the living area. The job that Abe and his people did turned out beautifully! Abe is fantastic to work with. He answered all my questions, brought multiple samples, was great with my family (even the crazy dog). He truly understood what I needed the products to do and what I was looking for in overall style. Most important, he worked with the insurance company so I didn't have to deal with them too much. I was a little nervous about that but I came to trust him completely.

The crew that actually laid the floor did a very good job and cleaned up completely afterward. I have had other jobs done and often the mess left is a pain. Not so with these folks. I really appreciated that.

I am so impressed that I have already asked Abe to do the stairway to our 3rd level and, he doesn't know yet, but am going to as about an area of our kitchen/dining-room next!

So pleased with the work that Flooring America Winchester did for us! From the start, Chris was SO helpful. He went through all the options for carpeting and flooring that we were interested in and answered our zillion questions until we made our selections. Abe graciously walked us through the process, set up delivery and installation, which occurred right on time. The flooring looks great. The carpeting is gorgeous. We were thrilled with the process--and mostly with the results!!

Very pleased with this company. I needed to replace a portion of a wooden floor which had been damaged by water. They addressed the issue without trying to oversell me or make it sound worse than it was. They secured the replacement wood and took their time removing the damaged wood, refinishing the concrete floor, and adjusting the new pieces to make the repair as invisible as possible. Excellent work.

Zero service after the sale, even when they make the mistake. The installer forgot a trim piece by a door, leaving a valley to collect debris. After many, many emails with Abe, he agreed to provide trim if I picked up and installed myself (or paid $125). Fine. But, he gave me a WHITE trim piece, not anything close to my cherry floors. And, this was a pretty big job as I had kitchen, dining room, great room, and hallways all covered with LVP. Go elsewhwere.

Abe, Caesar, and team are great! They were quick, yet thorough, and were always readily available to answer any questions. Abe was also great with flooring suggestions and navigating the insurance claims. It was great working with them and I will be a repeat customer for any other flooring needs that come up!

My husband and I were looking at different places around town for flooring. We were checking out our options and pricing. We do not like to buy things from Lowe's and Home Depot and prefer to go to stores that are knowledegable about their products. We went into this store and because we are young the gentleman working basically told us that we couldn't afford anything in his store and we would be better off at Lowe's or Home Depot. We never once mentioned a pricing point, we just wanted to get information about the flooring that he carried. It was like pulling teeth to get him to give us information. It goes to show that customer service really does make a difference-- a store could be way overpriced, but if the people who work there are kind and helpful, I don't mind paying extra money to support their business. This guy was just plain rude.

Excellent! Hands down. A great welcome to a new place. Superb service, great prices, and excellent product. Ask for Anita--she's wonderful. We will certainly return for any future flooring needs.

This was the first time I have been in this store, and the last. It seems like Marilee reviewed the same way I was going to. Same situation as my husband and I. The man directed us in the $1 square foot section. We thought that was extremely rude because we are looking to do our son's room and going to sink some money into nice carpeting for him. Never even asked if we needed help before we left. Barely even greeted. Even if this place was giving away carpet for free I would walk the other way. I doubt anyone of importance ever reads these reviews but it seems like they only like older people.
