It all starts with the dough. Made fresh daily, with no oil, no sugar, no high-fructose corn syrup and with filtered water to replicate the water back in New York. It is then hand tossed to create a crust that's authentic, thin and airy. We add our signature sauce, whole milk mozzarella and fresh, all-natural toppings and we're ready to bake the pie to perfection. Unlike the big pizza chains that mass-produce their pies through conveyor belt, assembly-line ovens, our pies are baked in brick ovens to create a crispy, slightly darker crust that our customers crave.

Since we were in the area, Flippin Pizza came highly recommended. Premium prices if you want a specialty pie!
$26.95 - No added oil and No added sugar. They sell craveable pies and slices. In addition, they have specialty pies. We had to go big or go home! PIES are made with 100% whole milk mozzarella. 18 inch.
** honestly I would never get the slices because they are just sitting there and not as fresh, but understandably customers do not want to spend to get the whole pizza or don't want to eat the entire pizza **
Honestly, the pie was so piping hot and had a wonderful crust to go with it.
We ate it on-site and loved the Bronx pie. Wish the toppings were loaded with more veggies but that is just my preference.Helpful 13Thanks 1Love this 10Oh no 0 - Megan D.San Marcos, CA11652Mar 21, 2024
Went in tonight to grab a couple beers after work because their thirsty Thursday deal is a banger. Was offered a sample of their bread sticks by their cook Cameron. Ended up ordering their new mezzo pie which is four slices of any of their pizzas and then the other half is folded into the breadsticks. The topping on the breadsticks is so good and the pie as always was top notch. This is definitely a great deal and as always the crew was warm and inviting. Forever my favorite pizza spot in North County.

I feel like this place is on its last leg. Weve come for many years but the service has really gone downhill and now they charge a 3.5% surcharge and then have the nerve to ask for a tip for their crummy attitudes. Employees move like snails and act completely uninterested. Too many other good pizza places to put up with this. Won't be back.

The female who first spoke to me was less than friendly and the female who rung me up was down right rude. I literally felt bad for my friendly toddler who was trying to say hi to her and she was just rude and seemed miserable. Not sure if her name but was wearing extremely heavy makeup. I hope the manager sees this and spends time training the employees on customer service skills because it takes more than decent pizza to have a successful business. Yep, never going back and we order pizza at least once a week.

Everytime we come here, everything is great. We always get the "pizza by the slice" combos because we get to visually see what we're picking and the order comes out really quick. I decided to try a slice and a meatball "sandwich." The sandwich was good, but I'm not so sure it was worth the additional price paid. The slices are NY style, so they are thin (which we prefer). This place is in the Home Depot parking lot, so if you need some home improvement stuff, you can also stop by and get a slice :)
The restaurant is always clean and the people are always friendly. Try it out.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 35443494Jan 9, 2023
Food (4/5 stars):
Gotta love those big slices The pizza was just alright because I'm not a fan of thin-crust and it lacked sauce. But the pepperoni was the highlight! Just wish there was more of it
Experience (4/5 stars):
* Price: a little pricey
* Wait Time: 45 min for pick up on a Saturday night
* Service: good
* Parking: there's a parking lot
* Ambiance: it's a nice pizzeriaHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Oct 30, 2023
I have eaten at the Del Mar and Vista location and always have a great slice. The Vista location is super pleasant, clean and so friendly. Got waited on by Sophie, and she made a few suggestions that helped me get through my 'need lunch brain fog' and the salad and slice that came out in a flash was everything you can ask for in a simple healthy meal. The fact that large, crisp salads are available for a bargain is something I will remember when I'm in the Shadowridge side of town. Sophie was super sweet and I found out she hasn't even been working there very long! They have excellent New York style, crisp, not greasy slices and have an awesome lunch special ( I'm cheapskate when I'm dining alone). Best price in town for a huge salad (chilled bowl is always nice, right?) With a slice and a fountain drink for around 10 bucks.

I've had pizza from here for years. My husband brought home some slices the other night and honestly, they were dry and tasteless. I ate one slice and tossed the other. We had meatballs too; I've loved them in the past, and not sure why they were blasé this time, but they were. Boo hoo.

The food is always good and all the other workers are nice, this would be a 5 star review if it weren't for this lady right here. She's always very rude to customers and it's almost as if she refuses to treat them kindly. My friend tipped her today and she didn't even say thank you or acknowledge him. This isn't the first time she has been rude to people either.
