We frequent Flavors when we aren't up for cooking. They have reliably delicious dishes including dim sum (which we almost always order). Tonight we started with fried shrimp egg rolls and eggplant, both very tasty, also had Pho - Tai
(Beef Flanks in Beef Broth, Garnished with Onions, Fresh Bean Sprouts & Fresh Basil) . We enjoyed it, the broth was light (maybe a bit too light?) but with tasty toppings and sauce.
My favorite is the Com Ga: Grilled Lemongrass Rice Plate -Grilled Chicken Marinated in Lemongrass Seasoning Served over Steamed White Rice with Fresh Cucumbers & Vietnamese Pickles. The chicken is amazingly tasty and tender, love the pickles with it! And they give you a generous portion!

The restaurant is very different under the new management like shockingly. 4 tiny pieces of crab Rangoon.
Fresh spring rolls were a joke. Wrapped in cellophane so it stuck to the rice paper making it impossible to eat because the rice paper in the cellophane were glued together. I called the restaurant, a rude kid answered. I joked that it didn't sound like he wanted to be there and he said he was sick. Sick. Working in a kitchen at a restaurant sick. Just gross. This place is really become a crap hole.

I don't know where to put this information, but a group of us went to Flavors of Asia today (8/26/23) and discovered that it is closed permanently. One of us bought food there two days earlier, and said there was no indication that the restaurant was about to close.

This was a wonderful place and I'm sorry to see it close..

Ordered some delivery from Flavors of Asia last week! I hadn't been but had, like many, passed it on Clinton one million times and have said one million times "oh man I gotta try it there I heard their menu is wild." I was also enticed by the amount of vegan options and the fact that they had a full vegan menu with tofu and veggies and lots more.

I ordered the vegan spring rolls and vegan tofu cashew...neither really did it for me. The spring rolls were SUPER teeny tiny but tasty. The tofu in my cashew dish was really unappetizing. Mushy, uncooked, and dredged in an oily sauce. The veggies were also basically raw and took a lot of crunch effort to get through. There were only about three whole cashews in the dish itself. I didn't end up eating much of it. The rice that came with was dry as can be as well.

I think I need to give them another shot and maybe pick up the order myself or dine in. It took a long time to get here (an hour after originally scheduled) and I think some of their other dishes might be better than what I went with. I also think it is tough when a spot tries to do SO many different menu options. I will update my review if I decided to try again in the future!

I had never been here before, but I was looking for a good Chinese food option after another local place closed. :(

I saw that they had Orange Tofu here, which isn't offered a lot of places. They also had Turnip cakes, which I'd never had, so I wanted to try those, too. We had two vegetarians in the house, so we ordered a few things and shared, and my husband had the meat dishes, and only he ate those.

Scallion pancakes - I love these, and they were good. A little greasy, but very good.

Fried tofu - This gets soggy with take out a lot, but these weren't! They were nice and crispy, and I'd definitely get them again.

Turnip cakes - I'd never had these and had no idea what to expect. They kind of taste like a hash brown or some sort of fried potato. They were also good, and I'd get them again.

Orange Tofu - This is what I really wanted. I loved that it was not swimming in sauce. It was just the right amount of sauce. It tasted a lot like sesame tofu, but with a citrus taste at the end. I liked it, but I'd probably try their sesame tofu next time just to try something else.

Spicy Mango Tofu - I did not like this. There was hardly any tofu, and the sauce was just spicy. It didn't taste like mango at all. I would not get this again.

Shrimp dumplings - Didn't have these, but he said they were ok.

Szechuan Beef - I did not eat any of this, but my husband hated it, and he's not usually very picky. He said there was barely any beef in it, it didn't taste like anything, and it wasn't anywhere near worth $11.50, which was the most expensive thing we ordered.

I really was pretty happy with the food, but my husband hating his was an issue. If we go here again, I'd have him try something else more like I got, like sesame chicken, etc. We also had an issue with Grubhub. It looked like they were at the restaurant, then they left, and I got a notification that it would be another hour for our food. I messaged the person to ask, and someone else went and picked up our food shortly after that. I'm not sure what happened, but the food was warm when it got to us. Their delivery fee is high though if you don't have Grubhub plus. I'm going with a 4 because I am pretty picky about food, and I really liked just about everything I had.

The food was okayy. They didn't even ask the spice level. The service was fine. Expected a little more decency in good and service. Overall it was disappointing

My sister had been raving about Flavors of Asia so we decided to check it out for lunch on a snowy Saturday.
We were greeted by a super friendly young woman who gave us a tip that the corner table for two was the toastiest table on a cHilly day. A tip we much appreciated! She promptly brought us water and hot tea

Portions looked generous so we skipped an appetizer and ordered 2 main dishes to share- Phad Pet with tofu (a yellow curry) and Com Dau Hu - lemongrass tofu on a bed of rice with pickled veggies

The phad pet was tasty with a hint of heat... the lemongrass with fish sauce was so tasty but I would have loved more of the veggies.

The only let down was the rice ... it was mush. It was hard to see the individual grains of rice - maybe their steamer was malfunctioning?! Looked like mashed potatoes! If not for that I'd have given 5/5

Also note: They have their own parking lot on the side of the building which can be helpful in the wedge!

Boy, has this place changed for the worse! The prices went up and the servings got smaller. Apparently, the place must of changed hands. Don't waste your money.

This used to be our go to place for Asian cuisine but after three tries we have yet to complete an order with this place through GrubHub and each time it took them at least a half hour to forty five minutes to let us know they couldn't fill our order! Last time we tried the dining room( on a weekend) they posted a sign on the door stating they were closed ! Three strikes and now they are out, of our restaurants list!

They are trying. I'll give them that. Cute dining room and nice service. Food is marginal at best. Appears some of the staffs friends are hanging out. Wonder where the owners are??
