I bought a moped there. I had no problem with pick up or delivery. With sales, after trying to have my moped's back tire replaced, it was another story. After more than a month, using every excuse in the world, I finally received my moped back with a new tire. It was pretty obvious that inventory and sales rank first. O.K. But repair, especially such a minor repair should not have taken so long. I will never go there again.

Thank you to Dan.L at New Haven Power-sports! This is my first experience with this dealer and Dan was exceptional. I was interested for the new Kawasaki 636 and been communicating with dan via email/phone. Great communication, very professional, and engaged to help me get the bike I wanted. Dan told me the bike I wanted wasn't in stock and was able to get it to the dealer less then a week! Very quick turn around! Overall I highly recommend this dealership! Inside was beautifully displayed and clean, and all the staff would say hello even if they were on the phone or interacting with another customer. I will be back soon to get my sons bike (ssr70)! Thank you Dan and New Haven Power-sports team!

This is strictly about the parts department, and I'm sorry, I gotta rant...
There seems to be a movement throughout the land, a feeling, maybe even an ethos, that we can be offered substandard low-grade, barely there, don't-bother-me, customer service.
There's a sense that purveyors of this rip-off can take money out of our pockets and if we squawk about it we will be met with denial and push-back, an attitude that we should accept what we have been given and if we don't like it, well, we'll be slandered and maligned and maybe even arrested.
It's not a political thing, it's not a government thing, it's not a commerce thing, it's EVERYTHING.
It's so bad I might have to start day drinking...Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Tarachu I.Waterbury, CT17483Mar 27, 2018
Was interested in checking out this place after reading positive reviews and recently seeing a specific bike that caught my eye on their website. Greeted by two beautiful and incredibly kind golden retriever dogs. There were two staff members on their desks and didn't even look away from their computers for a second to say hi until we approached the desk.
I'm a retail store manager and I am overly familiar with providing excellent customer service and how you want people to feel welcome when they come into your store. Definitely did not feel welcome here which was so disappointing after reading how great the staff was.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Paul L.Wilton, CT02206Jul 20, 2016
I wished I lived closer, so perhaps I could have bought a bike here, but just too far for normal service and stuff. However, I needed riding gear (brand new rider). I went mid week, and one of the guys took the time to walk me through all the types of helmets, jackets and gloves. Spent plenty of time with me, and seemed very honest about the pricing and value of the various options.
I am happy with everything I bought, its all great and comfortable.
Top notch place, highly recommend.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Adam W.Branford, CT04Dec 6, 2017
I've just recently bought a beautiful Ducati Panigale S from this shop. I don't usually write reviews but felt like I had to in this case. I looked at some of the other reviews written and I couldn't agree more. This is a terrific shop; great sales dept. (Dan) and the owner (Dave) are both super friendly and laid back. His daughter works there and is also very friendly. They have two beautiful and VERY friendly Golden Retrievers greeting customers as well. I mention all of this because it puts one at ease when you're there browsing / shopping.
Full disclosure: I've been browsing there for a couple of years; I've stopped in quite a few times. I never felt pressured or annoyed by Dan or anyone there; they are super laid back. So I finally decided on buying a Ducati and the whole process was handled so well, from beginning to end. I've also had the service dept. install some mods for me and change out the rear sets, etc. Again - even the guy I dealt with in the service dept. was friendly and helpful.
I read in one or two of the reviews that people were traveling pretty good distances to shop here and get service done on their bikes. I guess I'm extremely lucky to be about 7 miles (15 mins) from New Haven Power Sports.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mr. V.Manhattan, NY0122Oct 31, 2017
After receiving mediocre and shoddy service for years in the NYC area, I now drive 1.5 hours each way to get my bike serviced by the folks at New Haven Power Sports. I always get great service from Lodi and the rest of the knowledgeable service staff. I just know I can trust them so it keeps me coming back time and time again.
Dan in the sales department also does a great job if you are in the market for a new bike.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Aidan P.New Haven, CT4192May 7, 2017
Lody in service is very knowledgeable and friendly, but the business overcharges for parts and labor, and I'm not sure the other mechanics know what they're doing. They had trouble diagnosing my bike's problems and wanted to charge me $1,600 for carb work on an $1,800 bike. I pulled the carbs myself, and much to my surprise, they were perfectly clean. Before they even told me to do carb work they got over $1000 out of me with multiple services promising to fix the problems with my bike. This might be a good place to buy a bike, get advice, and maybe even buy parts, but it really is worth learning to do simple mechanic work yourself!

Great selection to choose from. Always friendly faces there to greet you. Demo ride is a great way to try your first ride.

What a shopping experience should be...
I'm new to the idea of riding and stopped in to see some bikes and learn a bit. Well I saw lots of bikes, learned a good deal, met some nice people and made friends with a terrific dog. Scooter that's for you.
No hassling, no pressure, no silly sales pitches. Only straight forward advice and recommendation--I left feeling informed, ready to ride and looking forward to returning.
As a certain well known motorcyclist once said, 'I'll be back.'Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
