This review is almost 3 years later. But I have to leave it on Yelp. Fixed Rate Moving is bar none. They are the first people you need to call for your move. I moved with them twice and each time no worries.

Steven was an excellent mover. He was prompt and efficient. We were more than pleased with his services. I could only hope he is still with the company or has gone on to his hearts desires.

We just hired Fixed Rate Moving for a local move. These three guys worked their tails off, only taking one break in the morning and a lunch break. I was naive enough to think that they would be able to move the entire house full of furniture by noon. It took the whole day, but these guys were extremely careful with our furniture, and I felt terrible every time they huffed and puffed while moving some of the larger pieces. It was not a perfect move, but you really shouldn't expect a perfect move anytime you have to move this much stuff. For example, they didn't put the bed back together properly, and my husband was upset about that. We have a smart bed, and he specifically told them how to lift/handle it, but apparently they forgot. The base fell apart, and they didn't put it together correctly. He'll have to do it this weekend. These guys told him that they were familiar with this kind of bed. Also, they damaged part of a staircase trying to move something upstairs, but I also didn't think that was a huge deal either, especially considering that our stuff was heavy. It was difficult for them to move it. I'm not complaining. They did much better than we could have done. There were only a few mishaps, but I wouldn't consider any of the mishaps to be major at all.

I should note though that I notified this company about every piece of furniture that I thought would be problematic with this move (i.e. the curio cabinet, piano, and refrigerator). The curio cabinet made them extremely nervous. It made it though. I also told them about the stairs, but apparently no one told these three guys about any of that. These were young guys. I felt terrible for them that they were not forewarned. That's an office issue though, not an issue with these three guys. Whoever reads this review, I know that you are busy, but warn your guys when a customer is concerned enough to try and forewarn you about potential problems with a move.

However, even with the couple of mishaps, the only reason I'm give them a four star instead of a five star is because they didn't close the back gate very well when they moved the patio furniture. My two dogs got out. That scared me. Luckily, we had just returned after finishing with the movers (mainly to retrieve the dogs) and saw them get out. My husband ran after one, which really didn't make him happy. He's out of shape and doesn't run. The dogs getting out was partially my husband's fault though because I told him to make sure that the gate was closed and dogs secure when the guys moved the patio furniture.

I would use this company again.

Booked a move from Sherwood to West Little Rock with Fixed Rate Movers. They called the day before the move to confirm. They showed up on time, worked hard and did not damage anything. I would recommend these guys.

I moved twice with this company. The first time was pretty good. Movers were quick. The second time took forever! Everything was packed. It took at least 4 hours to load a 1 bedroom apartment. Then someone went through one of my boxes and stole my prescription medicines.

Superb service! They were super efficient and gentle with my belongings. No scratches, no time wasted, NO HIDDEN FEES (which was a big plus for me), and they were super polite even though they had to move me into a no access construction zone. So appreciative for all the help! I will definitely be using them again and referring to anyone who needs help moving! Thanks again!

Was a good company. One complaint, hit the wall in two places and need fixed. This hasn't been completed.

We had 4 movers to move us from a tri-level on a steep hill to a ranch on a flat lot. The movers were excellent. Very professional, quick and polite. They did exactly like they said they would do with regards to the estimate. Also, we had some very heavy furniture that they rocked. I would use them again.

I used them to move when we sold our house and they were very easy to work with and reliable I would definitely recommend!
