I ordered a lunch special the portion size was huge - easily enough for two people. The food was solid. The vegetables and chicken were cut well and the sauce was just spicy enough. A little sketchy inside but clean.

Honestly, I've never tasted Chinese food that taste so good it makes you feel like you're in China eating Chinese fried rice. Great customer service in and out highly recommended if you're in the area check it out.

my food was horrible, I ordered a fried rice combo and the rice was clearly old I asked for extra green onion and bean sprouts and it was like they forgot to put it in the order and my egg rolls were cold

First Chop Suey brings back all the fond memories of eating Chinese take out. They have generous portion and tasty food! Really like the orange chicken sauce and shrimp fried rice! Go check it out if you're in Cicero!

I am beyond disgusted. I've been coming here for years. I realized a bunch of little brown spots inside the breading. after biting out of one I noticed a tiny worm. then I noticed more insects in my food. This is disgusting and unacceptable. 0/0 never buying food here again. I probably ate worms and shit every other time I wasn't starting at their food.

I was skeptical at first because I saw this business only had three out of five stars. But my boyfriend strongly recommended it so I gave it a try. I was very surprised to find out that the food was very good. I have a five star pallet and I am very hard to please. I was definitely pleased with the vegetable war mein And the breaded fried vegetables. I wish they gave me the red sweet-and-sour sauce to eat with them they just gave me packets and the smoothie had too much sugar for me but was still good and quality drink. I strongly recommend this place for Chinese! The best I've had in Chicago.

Food was pretty good, enjoyed it but the beef needed more heat but better then most others here in Cicero. The pineapple smoothie was fire definitely will return

I am a massive Chinese/Cantonese food fanatic & I have been to many places across IL, I can say confidently that First Chop Suey is by large & far one of the best I have visited. My all time favorites are..

#1 Shanghai(it was in Little Village for 35 yrs but the owners retired in 99' and moved back to Hong Kong)

#2 China Ho(Right off of Archer & Pulaski)

#3 The Ho King(33rd & S. Ashland Ave, It was supposedly closed in 00' due to the owner having legal troubles)

These are my top 3, The food was especially authentic & great tasting. The closest I have coming to finding a place that serves this level of deliciousness is First Chop Suey!

The driver never gives me change (drop off ) HE SUCKS!!!!! And the rice was TRASH! literal trash!

Not that great of food but decent service.
I liked that they delivered to my residence off of Kedvale with no problem. The large portions were huge and affordable. I ordered the Sesame Chicken and it was just bad meat drowned in brown sauce. The broccoli was no help as it also looked and smelled rancid.
The egg drop soup was good and I liked that it has chives in it.
The delivery is really professional as it was packed very well especially the soup. The driver called me via cell phone when he arrived.
Note that this is a cash based business and I was well warned when I called about payment. I have also sent feedback to Yelp to remove any implication of electronic payment for this establishment.
I recommend that restraunt take a look at their recipes and use fresher ingredients and maybe a smaller menu so as to master a few dishes well.
