Sad to say that they once had great service but recently they did an inspection on my vehicle and said I needed a new CV joint which was going to cost me. $500. Also, a new battery which they cited $300. I went to Pep Boys, and they lifted the car for me and showed me where I did NOT need a new CV joint or battery. But, because of their dishonesty I will never return to Firestone. So before you believe them get a second opinion. Pep Boys saved over $1000. dollars. I can believe that they were going to take advantage of me that way.

I have used this business twice and both times they were friendly, professional and completed the work in a timely manner

I have been going to fire stone for years and i have had good and bad experiences. Since Cruces does not have a wide selection on firestones, I am glad this one has some decent service. They are times when they may take forever to deal with your car but that is due to their high volume. I have seen this place with a full parking lot and and empty one so it really does depend when you go. However, they are usually happy to help in any way or form. So far i have gone for my tires and oil and they have always delivered at a reasonable price. It is always easier to call ahead of time if you have a problem and need it done in a timely manner.
Kudos to Victor who is always very helpful at the front desk. He definitely gets 5/5 stars on costumer service.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Larry F.Grapevine, TX08Apr 12, 2023
I do not live in Las Cruces. I point this out because I think this makes the service I received even more pertinent in that they were quick to help, honest about what was needed and a very fair price. Didn't try to sell me a new tire, but could have. Fixed the minor problem and I was safe to drive home the next day. The short story is I had a slow leak in one tire and had to drive over 600 miles home the next day. They were so very quick to help and had my car ready to go in a very brief time. I am so very grateful and hope that my review helps them get more business. I highly recommend them for how well they helped me out.

I'm a student, and have been driving my way across the country with a trailer I'm living in/building. Someone decided to slash the tire on my trailer for kicks while I was parked at a friend's house. I called Firestone and Victor let me know they could get me taken care of same day, on a Saturday no less. I managed to patch the SIDEWALL of the trailer and drive at a snails pace to their location. They replaced the tire and had me back home within 90 minutes. Thank you guys, I can now get home to my family in California for Christmas....as long as no one else decides they have nothing else better to do than to go for round two *fingers crossed*.

Not happy with their service. Wouldn't take the time to do what they told me they were going to do to my car.

On 9-3-2022 I paid for maintenance and a full vehicle inspection for my car at Firestone. Within 30 minutes of leaving I was stranded on the side of the road. My vehicle overheated due to no coolant, despite "coolant level/exchange" being one of the items checked off on the itemized list I was given with my receipt. When I called the man who answered told me that "they don't actually check coolant or brake fluid because it's a closed system and so these levels should never be low." If nothing was ever going to go wrong with the system, why would I pay a professional for an inspection? Even more importantly, why was it checked off as complete and "OK" if it was never evaluated? This vehicle was to be handed over to a new driver. It died while I was making a left hand turn in traffic; I cannot imagine if this had happened to her. We have taken other vehicles there in the past assuming that all the services marked on the checklist were actually completed. Now we will have to have all of those vehicles re-evaluated. We will never take another vehicle to this dishonest business who does not value either their customers or their own integrity.

Called the store RE: my struts that were installed at another firestone 2 months ago before relocating here. Worst ride of my life since installation. Store manager (Richard) told me for every couple of days he would call me back with the status of the parts order/availability, never got a call back.
For two weekends and two missed appointments in a row they didn't get the parts in and didn't call me.
Finally, decided to start calling and checking on things daily until my third scheduled appointment.
Was told 6 days before my appt this past weekend, 'struts are ordered from the dealership and are 2-3 days out'. Great!
So we scheduled for them to have my car all day Saturday to repair it.
I show up, no struts. I ask when they will be there, store manager says possibly Saturday but likely monday-wednesday. Great! Let's schedule for saturday for you to replace them and you can do the oil change, alignment, rotate and balance today.
Saturday comes and goes I try to call the store around 650pm, no answer.
Sunday, I call, Rich (not store manager) answers and says oh yeah it was marked done when I got here today.
I go to the store to get my car, the alignment was taken off of my ticket, there were recommendations on a page that were never discussed with me on the phone or in store when I picked up.
I didn't want to waste anymore time with this situation so I let him know I have a cfna card but didn't have it on me, I asked him to call CFNA to get my card # for payment. He presses a couple buttons and hangs up saying they're closed and you're not leaving until you pay. (Unnecessarily aggressive approach but yeah, obviously Im not leaving without paying bro).
I pull up my phone and log into cfna to look for a statement with my account #. I found an old statement with it after about 10 minutes. He looks at me and says 'well wasn't that easy?'
Weird flex bro
Ive been going to firestones all over the country for over 15 years and NEVER been talked to by anyone in a store that way.
Im not sure what he was trying to accomplish but a simple 'Im sorry my boss must have forgotten to call you last night to let you know it was done' makes up for a lot with customers.
To be clear, this is an isolated incident at one store at 311 s main street in Las Cruces, NM.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Logan B.Paris, France1261Mar 3, 2021
By far the worst experience I have ever had. It took 4 hrs for them to even look at the car. My brakes were squealing and they said they would replace the part another day. Same instance two days after, 4 hrs late, then charged me to "fix" the brakes...the sound came back in an hour. I repeat, worst auto experience I have ever had. I would give zero stars if I could.

Saved me on a cross country trip. I could see my tire going flat and drove straight to them. I was in and out and on my way. Great job!
