It's not St. Louis style pizza, it is Jersey Style pizza. So it is not for the faint of heart. It is a true east coast pizza.

The crust is house made and in not cracker thin like the typical STL crust. It is hand tossed, chewy and full of flavor. In addition to making their own dough, they make their pizza sauce from a family recipe. If you're going to do all that, you might as well go all the way and use real 100% Mozzarella Cheese. The slices are cut pie style and can be folded in half for easy eating. The bottom of our pizza was crisp, making it obvious it was baked in a brick bottom oven. It made it for easy handling. I was able to pick it up for a big bite.

We started out with the 10 piece Buffalo Hot Wings. They were heavily coated in hot and spicy buffalo sauce. To make the serving easier and neater at the table, they come with a small set of tongs. Must say, that is a nice customer service touch. After munching on our wings, we over estimated our appetites by ordering, "The Boss" one of the speciality pizzas.

The Boss, is a gigantic 18" pizza topped with; pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions, bell peppers and black olives with a touch of garlic. The pizza was fully covered edge to edge, with all of my favorite toppings. We both loved it, but each of us could only eat two slices each. We ended up having enough to take home for both of us to enjoy the next day for lunch.

I'm a big fan of cold pizza and The Boss did not disappoint. It was as good cold as it was piping hot.

The Patch is becoming a hot little neighborhood with Feraro's and its across the street neighbor, Stacked STL. If you can't get in to one, go to the other.

A little bit of Jersey in South City!

Having Black Friday off, I didn't want to run around town. I had some Netflix binge-watching to do and was in desperate need of some pizza or burgers. I decided to try Feraro's Jersey Style Pizza.

I had been to the one in Soulard, which closed quite some time ago, and whenever I head to Historic Carondelet, it's usually for Stacked StL burgers. However, I wanted something that I could snack on most of the day, and pizza was the best option.

I showed up right at eleven, and they were unlocking the door as I stepped onto the porch. I ordered my pizza and sat for a minute. "Why not have a beer?" I thought to myself. Feraro's doesn't have the best selection, primarily In-Bev products and a couple of craft beers on tap. They were out of Mirror Pond, so I went with an Amberbock.

Within 15-20 minutes, I had my pizza and was on my way. I kept things simple: a 16-inch pizza with sausage and pepperoni. Overall, I was pretty satisfied with my pizza, and I had plenty for dinnertime and lunch the following day.

I'm definitely glad to have a decent pizza option in South City, and if you have withstand the desire for Stacked Burgers, then definitely check out Feraro's Jersey Style Pizza!

We stopped in one day just wanting pizza. We loved it, and have been back multiple times. The pizza is delicious, as is everything else we've tried. We order pizza by the slice and it's the perfect size for a meal, I usually can't finish a whole slice. Other things have gotten are the house salad, calzone, garlic knots, and Italian donuts. Everything is amazing. Great happy hour offers including $3 rail drinks, $2.50 draft beer (I think) and half-off some apps. The margaritas are delicious!!

Just got it today, and prolly the best NY/Jersey style pizza joint in Saint Louis.

Light on sauce, heavy on flavor, just how I like it. Definitely give them a try!

Yo! This is for real!! For those of you who have never had the AWESOME EXPERIENCE of eating New Jersey pizza (especially on ANY Jersey boardwalk) you have no idea of what pizza is. Cause , no offense, what passes for pizza in St. Louis is NOT pizza.
This place is the real deal! As a connoisseur of NJ pizza from a lifetime of pizza consumption, I can say definitively- THIS IS PIZZA!!!
Huge slices that you have to fold in half to eat (the only way to eat a slice)...thin-ish crust with just the right amount of chew and a perfect amount of flour-dust. REAL full fat mozzarella that the oil drips down to your elbows as you eat it (ok, I might be exaggerating). Sauced with just the right amount of homemade tomato sauce -perfectly seasoned- Oh. My. Goodness!!!!
Did I mention you can buy it by the slice (the way you should buy it!) and the prices are extremely reasonable to boot!!!? Go nowhere else for pizza!
The south county location is super small but this location on ivory street is huge! Why wait across the street at Stacked STL for a mediocre burger when right across the street is this heavenly food!?!
When they get it restocked-you have to try the "pork roll" sandwich too. That says New Jersey too!
You know, Jersey has always gotten a bad rap over the years -but that's fine with me cause the beach gets crowded enough as it is in the summertime- but nowhere have we found authentic Jersey food like Feraros Jersey Style pizza.
Owner Jon has a true gem at both locations. You will never eat another pizza than his once you try them!!

Have I time traveled back to the Jersey beach!?!
      THIS is pizza!!!!!!

      Pros:
Waitress / Bartender was friendly and efficient
      Pizza was very good
the donut balls are delicious and come out fresh and still hot from the oil

      Con:
Garlic knots are pretty bland and pointless.

      Details:
Pizza, NJ style (obviously) and it's done very well, much better than every other pizza i've had in ST louis except maybe 1 other pizza place that i won't name out of respect to this business.

The Zeps are delicious warm powder sugary balls of delight!!

The Garlic knots were just bland twisted lumps of bread with a tiny bit of garlic on them...they're not very good, No body in St Louis seems capable of making a decent garlic knot which is weird because it's not that tough to do.
Needs WAY more butter, and Garlic, also they need to be bigger, they need a almost crispy outside with a doughy soft middle. These are small tiny little twisted up bits of dough with a tiny bit of garlic....not even close, this is why i removed 1 star, the Garlic Knots are just pointless to have on your menu if this is what you are going to serve, plus they came out AFTER the pizza did..... garlic knots should come out before or with the pizza..not after.

The pizza was very good, it's a great choice for that east coast type pizza crust, tough to beat in the St Louis area (and get some sweets to finish your meal, they are awesome).

Just skip the Garlic Knots unless you like bland wads of baked dough.

My rating is for the pizza. The pizza here in my opinion is one of the tops in St. Louis area.

We have been here 3 times now and have not been disappointed yet. Each time the pizza is hot, fresh and very good! I would highly recommend this pizza to friends and family.

You should give it a try and let me know if you agree with my assessment.

BTW - We are planning to stop by today and picking up 2 more giant pizzas with garlic knots.

This is the third restaurant I"ve been to in this location. First the Riverside Café, then Mama Gusto's, now Feraro's. They didn't do much to change it from the Mama Gusto's arrangement, but there was no need to - nice big booths, a pretty comfortable setting. Perfect for a pizza place, really. We'd only been to the Feraro's location off Tesson Ferry, which is tiny. This is a big step up.

Although it's not hard to find, this location is off the beatn path. Almost nobody will just happen to pass by, unless they're out to eat at Stacked Burger Bar across the street. It's very close to the River City casino, which is always crawling with people. Not sure how much that helps if 95% of them leave with no money.

We had a very good experience here. We've always liked their pizza, and once again it didn't disappoint. I compare it to Dewey's - good stuff. I don't rate it exciting or extra special, but it's a very good hand-tossed pizza and the crust is light with just the right crispness. More impressive was the meatball slider appetizer. Two good sized sliders, which were delicious, plus (strangely) a side of fries for just $4. It was plenty for a meal. We also got a side salad, which was fresh and tasty.

Based on the meatball sliders, I'm excited to go back and try one of their sandwiches. Service was great and they have a nice bar with a couple of big screens. As an added bonus, there were tables open at 7 PM on Friday night. If you live anywhere near the south side, be sure and stop in.

My son and I stopped in for lunch-we've been here with big groups for pizza-which we love. Today we tried the calzone-amazing-perfect blend of meats and sauce and tons of delicious melted cheese! In fact, I think I'll go eat my leftovers now!

Always a 5 for some of the best pizza in St Lou. This is our go to pizza place. Try the garlic knots. Always get the 18" pie. The rest is even better the next day.

      Mozzarella sticks
Giant 18" sausage, pepperoni and onion.
