I've been taking classes at Embody on and off for 4 years. The fundementals series helped with some foundational skills and conditioning. Ive only had great experiences and instructors at both locations. Currently, my schedules gives me 1-2 kid-free sundays a month so i try to do something for myself. Luckily, Shimmer has a class at 11. She is the most encouraging, positive, motivating and inclusive of all abilities instructor. I look forward to all i learn in her class and the positive energy she and the other students bring.

I came here while I was in town for the holidays to get some open pole time in. I was so surprised by this place - I love it and wish I were local so I could go all the time! Their pole room that I used was sparkling clean, the sound system was awesome and easy to use, and I could dim and customize the lights and AC/heater. I really couldn't ask for more. If I had to pick one thing it was just that they have ballet bars installed along the mirror wall, so I couldn't really get a full view of my body for low flow work. That's not a deal breaker, I just enjoy seeing how my work looks without having to either be under the bar or seeing my top half only.

Anyway, their front desk staff member was great to chat with and I bought some knee pads on my way out. Will definitely be back when I'm in town!

Kind staff. They have one room for both silks and pole.
I like that they have mats under the silks, that is something I haven't seen before and made me feel a lot safer!

So I signed up on class pass. And it tells me hoop intro is cancelled. So I'm like okay, let's sign up for intro pole. Then I drove a whole 30 min to get there just for them to tell us the class is cancelled bc the instructor isn't there. Very unorganized and a waste of $6 gas.

I've noticed such a positive transformation with the change in ownership. I went pre-pandemic when it was called Fembody and although the instructors have been consistently great, the atmosphere felt cold and unfriendly. However, they changed the name to Embody to be more inclusive and I believe that made a difference. The students are more diverse and supportive, much like I've experienced at a couple of my other favorite pole studios.

Additionally, Embody now offers a variety of classes at lots of different times (e.g., a range of levels for pole, aerial silks, aerial hammock, aerial hoop, burlesque, and barre).

I used to take classes using ClassPass, which cost between $20-30 each. Now, membership prices are a bit more reasonable, so I joined at $200 a month for 10 classes.

They don't mess around though! They have rigid policies like not allowing students to show up to class 10+ minutes late, which is understandable because the first 15-20 minutes are spent warming up, stretching and conditioning focus areas for the particular class. They are very clear about their policies in emails and notices too.

Nonetheless, I am so happy to be a member and be back in the studio with awesome instructors and classmates!

I'm a baby poler and have been interested in this space for awhile now. I took a level 1 choreography class w Jean and it was so fun. She's great. Bring knee pads, water bottle, and a yoga mat... Jean had a great warm up and her teaching style was on point. Awesome energy from her. The studio was easy to find and lots of parking. I was very shy going into a new studio but my nerves calmed as soon as I got into class. Very welcoming students and staff. I bought a 4 class new student pack for $49. I specifically sought out Jean for choreo and Laura for lyra (hoop). I have never taken a hoop class but have been dying to try. Laura is super knowledgeable and I also enjoy her teaching style as well. But I am sure all the instructors are super. Can't wait to eventually try them.

What stands out to me w this studio specifically are the different rooms for different classes. Love that. Over all a pleasant experience. I encourage you to keep in mind that all studios are different so rules/requirements are different. Try not to compare one to the other, go in w an open mind ready to take what you can get from each studio/instructor knowledge wise. I say this w experience because I myself attend several pole studios and work at a competitive studio as an admin. Once my 4 pack of classes are finished I would def continue to try different classes/instructors this studio has to offer. Also, in relation to my 4 pack class you do have to use them within a month. Please keep that in mind so there are no surprises. Also keep in mind when attending class arrive early as a courtesy and respect to students and teachers. Also have fun! I had a blast!

Nice studio. Instructors are friendly and helpful and my splits were improved a lot. At the same time my body got so much stronger. It's not just about stretching, but teaches me how to gain strength as well. Glad I found this studio!

Great place to work out on pole skills. No need to be shy and no judgement. Pole moves are challenging yet doable. Coaches will not let you fall. All skill levels welcome.

Fembody family, y'all are amazing!! This studio (as well as their others) and the staff and instructors are wonderful and such a pleasure to chat and learn from.

I came originally dragged out by a friend to get the Groupon for 2 weeks, and while I was extremely hesitant to try aerial fitness, I was HOOKED after my first class! They have aerial silks, hammock, hoop, pole, barre, and even burlesque and twerk classes! There was so many classes to choose from and it was great being able to take different classes! Warning though: don't underestimate aerial and pole fitness though, it's A LOT HARDER than it looks!

Thank you Rie Rie and all the other instructors for your hard work and for being such a motivating instructor and making sure that everyone was safe and got help when they needed it! It was great when they remembered me and my progress and could teach me from there!

They have class packages and even memberships depending on how often you can come. Their reservation system is also via Mindbody so it's extremely simple to register and pay for classes!

I'm going to look into memberships because I really think this is something I am see myself doing for a very long while!

      Yay for learning cool things!

Totally disappointed when I got declined for coming in only 8 mins late!! I drove all the way from Yorba Linda and wasn't even considered to come in (35min drive in the middle of rush hour for a 6:30pm class!) I was so excited to learn but was a total upsetting event when they didn't let me in! They rebooked my class for the same class next week by extending my 7 day unlimited class for one day and I won't even know for sure if I will be able to make it coming from an 8-5pm job!

Moreover, prior to this upsetting incident, I purchased the intro offer ($10) for one class and I asked if I can just add $40 to get the New Student Special. They said they will switch it over for me and credited the $10 through MindBody. No Refunds!! I was ok with the credit at first but being declined from a class for being late was really unacceptable since they didn't post that rule on their MindBody Class Ad!!
